amok: The problem with Godot is that it is still small, it does not have a large asset store and not as many tutorials as for example Unity or Unreal
Breja: And you have to wait for it.
"The game engine you've been waiting for."

So, the Godot developers did already think of that joke.

rtcvb32: Wached a 100 hours in Godot video, and apparently accessing features or doing things is a lot more confusing. In Unity to get a location it's transform, while in Godot it's like 8 different ways depending on it's 2D, 3D, local, Global, etc. Maybe 4.0 Godot is a lot better not sure yet.
Guess it just needs a lot more polish and making it uniform and makes sense, and having an asset store is likely not a good idea, while being able to import any asset is a better idea.
As for tutorials, yeah will probably need it. Bumbling through blindly will just discourage people.
Godot is actually on 4.1.
In fact, you can even get a build of 4.2, even though it's still in development. Just expect bugs and breaking changes if you do (but don't be afraid to report the bugs!).
