babark: I dunno, I'd like to think that people will appreciate stuff like this regardless of when they grew up, and not just as a "Oh, this would've been so cool if it was in hi-res!" sort of way...in fact, I can't think of a way this art could be hi-ressed and still be the same thing:
You would like to think so but I would bet that most people who grew up with HDTV and Bluray as the norm won't be as impressed with it now. I appreciate good pixel art but not as much as exceptionally done traditional hand-drawn work. I tend to gravitate more towards games that use 2D instead of pixel art like Daedalic and Klei games for example. But, my point of view like yours regarding this is all subjective. :) babark: As for MM in DoTT, I meant it should've been MM in DoTT original in DoTT remastered: game within a game within a game :D. Although has it been confirmed that you'd be able to swap between the original game and the remastered version's art and interface?
PS: What the hell happened to your rep?!
I'm not sure what you mean, it is going to be exactly like the original "game within a game" in the remastered version. Yes, it has been confirmed that we'll be able to swap between the original graphics and the remastered version in the same article that I linked. If you want more confirmation then here is a post on the DF forum directly from the source. PS: What the hell happened to your rep?!

As for the rep well I'm not the only one getting a daily dose of down repping and since GOG doesn't want to fix this easily abused broken system there is nothing we can do except ignoring the worthless arbitrary number.
