Fairfox: Hand of Fate was a game I wanted, DRM-free, being into that kind of 'choose your own adventure' style fare from childhood up. But the painfully slow updates on GOG, contrasted by the super-zippy Steam offerings, killed any buzz I had for it. The DLC took forever to materalise, and the developers, Defiant Development, never did offer the music as a downloadable extra (paid or no), despite the fact it would have been a bunch of mp3s (or flac. One can dream) in a zip file. A zip file.
Marioface5: It seems that The Escapists also suffers from this.

Welcome to the club! I'm tired of buying games on here and then feeling like I wasted my money supporting a developer/publisher that treats us like second-class customers.
I hope you guys are okay with me quoting you on that, since I have no first-hand experience with either game. Please let me know if you aren't!
