Lifthrasil: I don't know if I would trust someone who calls himself 'Boss', that sounds awfully authoritarian
Seriously? Authoritarian equal fascist? Don't say you don't need authority to run liberal government.
Also, Boss means I do business and get the job done. To do that, I work and cooperate and delegate. If you want a government that actually "Do Something" you would choose a Boss like me to hold important position
Well, there is a difference between others calling you Boss and you yourself calling you boss. The first is a sign of respect. The second is a sign of hubris. It's the old dilemma of ambition: you never should trust someone, who wants to rule, with doing so! That's why the Universe is run by an old man who isn't even aware that it is real and who has no ambition whatsoever!
While I agree, ambition, or strong will to pursue a purpose, is a necessary drive for improvement. Also, ambition is only bad when you do unethical things to achieve it. When you do it in ethical way people call it dedication

That aside, I just realized my previous posts are deleted. Seems like I'm also one of those down rep bot target

zeogold: Please PM me your yes/no votes on whether you wish for this setup or not, if you haven't done so already. There must be a majority "yes" for this to pass.
Question, does the government get formed as soon as yes gets majority, even if everyone hasn't voted yet, or do you have to wait for everyone to vote anyway?

Everyone votes and all ballots are revealed afterwards

You have to wait for everyone to vote anyway. All votes are received in secret and then revealed publicly all at once.
If this were a real-life Secret Hitler game, we'd all have two ballot cards, one saying yes, the other saying no, in our hands. Each person would pick one and put it in front of themselves, upside down, and then everyone'd flip all of them simultaneously when all votes are on the table.
OK, for the record, I voted yes and urge everyone to vote yes quickly (so the game continues at a quick pace).

Really at this stage random.org is as good as anything and as far as I'm concerned, at this moment, despite all the fluff going around, everyone has an equal chance of being/not being fascist. (I have a tiny weeny suspicion about one person, but it's probably just fluff. I'll leave it for later anyway).

I played Resistance a lot, which has the same voting mechanism. But in practice we rarely use them. We just discuss it first, and usually get a yes or no vote straightaway. Only resort to these if it's obvious there is a deadlock and discussing it in open won't bring a result.

(Not that the above trivia is anyhow related to this, just thought I'd mention it).

I second that - I don't really see a way or a good enough reason for the first government election to matter unless fascists and or Hitler himself screw things up in a very obvious way. We have the unique chance to not do GOG Mafia D1 by playing Secret Hitler so let's take advantage of it.

That's reason enough for me. ;-)
