It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

GameRager: It was likely Deutsch language filter.....21 pages exactly....hope that helps(I just verified it). :)

BIG EDIT: I noticed just now one doesn't have to have the mouse over the checkbox to select it....even being a bit left of the row of games to it's right will allow it to be clicked(the hand/finger cursor shows)....so you likely clicked it by accident when trying to click the left most game in that row.
Very odd.

Just seems like a coincidence of numbers to me or some browser memory related issue.

When I clicked German just now, it was an instant change.
Yesterday like I said, my browser was frozen for a few seconds and then it auto reloaded.
Perhaps I had too many tabs opened and the memory got screwed ... wouldn't surprise me.

Could be, or you could've clicked on a game when it froze(browser), moved your mouse a bit during the freeze, and the browser then interpreted the click as where your mouse now was after the freeze(dunno if that makes sense...sometimes I cannot get the right words to come to mind).

GameRager: Then you'd likely be best served by going through the entire catalog once, as I suggested above, and adding all wanted games in in one go(then checking wishlists during sales along with Rwarehall's lists).....then adding new games when GOG launches them here. :)
I have done, and I have already covered that before ... above. I have a few shy of six full wishlist pages. When I check out a game I do it properly, which takes time. And with so many games I forget the details of most, even why I add them to my wishlist sometimes, which then requires a refresher. Sometimes it is just mood based too.

avatar
GameRager: That is why I often buy some really wanted games right away(if the deal is good and I really want them) to avoid losing out if a discount is wrong/etc.
I sometimes do the same with a game I really want and have been waiting for a discount on.

avatar
GameRager: Also make sure to read post 12 on the end if you haven't already...I think I found how/why you got to 21 pages. :)
I did, and I guess there is a very slim chance that happened, but as you can see by the number of games I have here at GOG, I ain't no beginner. I come to GOG virtually every day, I have checked out many many sales.

I am not the naive or inexperienced person you seem to think I am with some of your replies above. Add to that I have been using a PC for decades and know my way around that and the web, plus the fact I program every day for a hobby, and I am sure you can work out I know a thing or two by now.

I guess I also need to point out, that I say stuff deliberately sometimes in the manner I do, for a reason ... and it's not always obvious why if you don't ponder the possibilities.

Just remember, it is not always what you say that counts, but also what you don't say ... and you can take that two ways .... deliberate or not deliberate.

If you had time/wanted to maybe you could make a notepad/etc which lists the wishlisted games and how much you want them/why you want them? Just a thought.

True, but even seasoned veterans of GOG can misclick when tired(i've done it a few times, mainly due to that annoying "hover to keep menus open" system). :)

Yes, but surely a seasoned veteran knows the possibilities, so why mention them.
Using the front page?

"Well there's your problem!"

Hasn't worked for me since the "new and improved" site re-design.

I like the suggestion of wishlisting games and just looking at wishlist to see what's on sale.
Anyway, it is kind of pointless to keep iterating all this.

None of us (GOG excepted) are in possession of the facts, we are all just guessing what occurred and why.

I got annoyed enough to mention the issue and let off some steam (sic) ... maybe that's enough.

If others haven't had a similar experience, then maybe I am barking up the wrong tree, and it was a rare event or somehow peculiar just to me.

People forget things, and some(even veterans to things) might not know 100% of everything to know perhaps?

Also I like to muse on things, sometimes even things people might know.....it's a habit of mine, you see. :)

Eh, it was still fun to speculate and talk about it for a bit. :)

Did someone say they did that?
I must have missed it.

You clearly have the wrong idea about why I created this topic, if you think I did it out of fun.

And I'd rather people be appreciatively helpful or not bother replying ... though I am not immune to seeing the humor in any situation ... providing it really is funny.

If I did somehow click the German option, I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Personally now on reflection, I feel it may have just been an issue with my browser ... that and my PC.
Like me, the memory is not what it used to be ... and probably ran out, the window repainted and used a few defaults or something prevented all options from being returned ... lack of memory still perhaps.

You did it to vent I am guessing, or to get useful input? Either way it has served it's purpose & there's naught much else to do now but shoot the bull, as it were.

Fair enough, though sometimes a bit of random talk can be just as calming as nice words from others on the issue being discussed. :)

That or what I said before( a screen freeze and misclicking due to the mouse staying put while the mouse/screen position moved or vice versa)...either one is likely it.

SO now that you've solved this mystery, more or less, what will you do now? Go to disneyworld? Make a nice coffee and relax a bit? ;)

No, I didn't do it to vent ... or even get useful input.

Life revolves around communication, and I believe in communicating about things that shouldn't happen or you feel are wrong.

If you don't say anything then an issue may never be addressed or dealt with.

And maybe I did it for a bit of sympathy in the right quarter ... never know your luck.

Like for many I am guessing, it is hard to overcome the apathy sometimes and actually say something ... but I did.

You also never know if an issue is just impacting you or others, unless someone says something.

GOG really needs to implement an "view all in one page" list view and screw this multipage crap.

That it does, and (even if it might not do much) it is often good to get such ideas out there.

Also good points....well, I hope you accomplished some or all of what you wanted to with this, at any rate, and maybe feel a bit better as well....have a good one. :)

I like the multi page layout...it uses less system resources and is nicer to look at(for me).

RWarehall: I imagine that was a pricing mistake by GoG and they needed to remove it quickly. It's not the only one this sale. A bunch of things went on deeper sale this morning and were quickly reverted as well. As well as a Shovel Knight package that was clearly mispriced.

There is a difference between a flash sale and a pricing mistake.
Yup. I managed to pick up Shovel Knight while the price was bugged at $9.99 in the platforming bundle. It took them a few hours to fix that one I think.
