tfishell: But hey, it's here now and I guess SF still have publishing rights like Mobygames suggested.
We don't "suggest" the current rightsholders, just publishers for individual releases. There were quite a few back in the day, USA had Strategy First, some European markets had PAN Interactive (now PAN Vision), Spain had FX Interactive (and that release was quite popular), etc., so it makes me wonder how Strategy First has global publishing rights now.
Be that as it may, it's a very good release. Pre-patched to v1.1.0 so campaign missions are fixed, all the auxiliary programs (AI editor, map editor, sound editor) seem to be here, includes a DirectX config tool that reminds me of nGlide (I guess it was an attempt to fix inverted colours on some systems?), DirectPlay .reg files you can easily use, even an IPX wrapper is included for multiplayer. Alt-Tab works without issue, too!
The only thing missing is a manual and goodies (there were some official wallpapers IIRC). Serial key requirement is gone, but I hope multiplayer never needed those.
