General Troubleshooting
-----------------------

If you're experiencing black screen / crash on launch, please try the following:

- Before starting the game, change video resolution to your desktop one (or the closest match). if that fails, try falling back to 1024x768. Video settings can be found under GOG Galaxy HERE
-- or in Start Menu HERE.
- Close any unnecessary applications running in the background, especially ones overlay-based like EVGA Precision, MSI Afterburner, GeForce Experience, FRAPS etc.
- If running multiple screen setup, try switching to a single monitor.

If none of the above helps, please send your DxDiag to our Support team HERE. The more information we have, the easier it will be to pinpoint the problem.

May the Force serve you well.

jalister: I've hated pod racing in any Star Wars game that had a pod racing section. It makes me skeptical to think that this would be fun for me. Maybe I can find a demo.
If you are referring to the horrible racing sequences in KoToR then don't worry, this is an actual racing game. I still wonder what on earth, or hell for that matter, possessed the developers to put that into kotor.
This is one of the arcade racing games that i remember fondly (i played the Dreamcast version); great release and much earlier than expected!

Veloxi: Hey GOG, quick question, how do you get multiplayer working with this one? VLAN? Galaxy?

I bought it, I just wanna know how to get this done. Thanks!
Only LAN mode is supported. Sorry for the confusion, I updated the gamecard.

If it works over LAN, does that imply multiplayer via something like hamachi is possible?

kingdomfiend: Crashing on launch, resolution is set correctly. Wish I could get it to start
OS? card? Any overlay-like applications in the background (FRAPS, GeForce Experience etc)?
First step would be trying to close as many unneeded programs as possible.

It wasn't tested by us and I can't really say. But hamachi is usually quite reliable.

Try changing resolution to match your desktop in Video Settings:

GOG, you dastardly magician! I was just thinking the other day how hard it was to get my disc moving on even Win 98 let alone XP, even with patches.

You might want to update the Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package one as well (and answer BlackSun's question).

Great release. But even though the store-page says the game supports controllers, none of my gamepads (Logitech F310, XBO for Windows) work, which renders the game unplayable for me at this point.

True (I forgot about that), but would you mind answering the question?

And thanks for sharing the awesome GIF! :D

I'm also getting crashes at launch, despite the game resolution being set to the same as my desktop resolution.

Also in Disney Infinity 3 and one of the Lego Star Wars games. I actually disliked the pod racing scene in the movie, except for tusken raiders shooting at the racers.
