General Troubleshooting
-----------------------

If you're experiencing black screen / crash on launch, please try the following:

- Before starting the game, change video resolution to your desktop one (or the closest match). if that fails, try falling back to 1024x768. Video settings can be found under GOG Galaxy HERE
-- or in Start Menu HERE.
- Close any unnecessary applications running in the background, especially ones overlay-based like EVGA Precision, MSI Afterburner, GeForce Experience, FRAPS etc.
- If running multiple screen setup, try switching to a single monitor.

If none of the above helps, please send your DxDiag to our Support team HERE. The more information we have, the easier it will be to pinpoint the problem.

May the Force serve you well.

korja78: Is there any way you guys would be able to get it to recognize the Steam controller if I run it through Steam? I'd really appreciate it.
I'll admit I haven't played this one, but if the game understands Xinput, you can set your desktop configuration to be an XBox controller. (There's an action set you can configure where it acts like a controller when the cursor is hidden and can be KBM when the cursor is visible.)
Does anyone know who owns this game now? After reading Wikipedia I assume that it is currently owned by Walt Disney via LucasArts (now a shell company), is this correct?

Does Electronic Arts related in any way to this title? Because they do own an exclusive license for SW themed video games.

Thanks. Not a trolling.

From the comments here about the controllers, it appears that the game doesn't support XInput, so you get issues like the merged axis for the left and right triggers on the Xbox 360 controller and no force feedback. There is a program called XInput Plus that can be used to remap the XInput controls to DirectInput ones, and with this you should then be able to split the trigger axis and get some rumble element from the Xbox 360 controller.

Impaler26: I still like hanging around the forums a bit. Or is that not allowed if i don't buy games here anymore?

;)
Of course it's allowed! :-P But it's a bit weird imho. :-P

Why did you stop buying games here? :)

Can anyone else confirm that Steam doesn't have this?

Shadowcat: How does a game like THIS not include a video trailer?!? Screenshots seem like a very poor substitute.
Here you are.
Would have liked to be able to choose 3840 × 2160 as game resolution since that is my desktops resolution.
Highest available is 2560x1440 :(
YEEESSS!!!

pe7ouill3: Hi guys,

The game crash just after the launch...
Any solution? I already tried XP and 98 compatibility

windows 7 64bits
All drivers up to date etc
thx
I had the same problem : crash with "rdroid_gnome release build" message .
Uninstalled the game , reinstalled through GOG Galaxy , changed video settings for this game in galaxy to 640*480 . and it worked :)

As much as I would like to pretend that Episode I didn't exist, this game does look like intriguing and fun to play. Alas, I have no money so I must wishlist it for now.
Very cool release! :D
