Not Tonight is now available DRM-free on GOG.com, 10% off until August 24th, 3 PM UTC.

as for this game, I have to pass, because regardless of it's subtext, it's too damn smart for me. Anything more complicated than Pac Man and my brain shuts down.
The game looks quite simple after watching a video it seems to be a repetitive game, next please, id please, next and in btween you click on the counter and add some stuff, pretty much like papers please.

Anyway, 2 extremely simple games (also repetitive) are Fortix and Fortix 2 ( Steam)
Fortix is quite cheap now, i own both games and Fortix is a nice 'landgrabber' game like the old classic Stix we played on the c64 :

gamesfreak64: True, many games even on steam are drm free , well in a way they are drm free cause you do need a client to get the game to download ( forced clients is a form of DRM) on the pc, and the games are not really drm free cause you will need to put some file in it, there is a topic in GOG forum that shows how it involves a text file, doesnt work for every steam game cause many games simply check for the client and if it is running.....

Reviews enabler ? do you mean an automated reviewer? or a manual like gog has and steam has where suers can leave a review.

Games sending data without my permission are bad , even if they are 'harmless' and wont identity or link to the player, telemetry and more nonsense are things i hate, Firefox loves sending data, lucky for us we could block that in the old FF, i dont know if the latest builds allow 100% blocking of telemetry , win 10 that awful piece of spyware with a build in OS, cause thats what it is in a way, usually you have an OS that sends data but this is a spyware that has a build in OS so it can do more :D

Anyway, big brother is watching everyone, and it seems there is no escaping it cause we do need a new windows so we sheeps take all the spying for granted.

I really like this one; he obviously didn't buy it but he uses the terms "my video games". :P

Whoa, whoa. First - make up your mind if you want reviews only fron users, who bought the game or ones, who own it. This is not the same.

Second, the "review" on the picture you added is useless, regardless if a person who posted it bought the game or owns the game or just someone who was passing by, saw "Not tonight" and expressed own attitude. The only way to get meaningful reviews is only to delet not meaningful reviews. And that requires work of curating the reviews just like curating games.

I wholeheartedly agree with GOG deleting the reviews that were posted only for political purposes, even if the game itself makes politics a major selling point.

However, I do find it somewhat disturbing that GOG seems to agree with a review that calls a vast minority of its users "Russian bots". Kinda funny coming from a reviewer called "robo" with 0 hours played and owning only 16, probably free, games. Thank you for the profiles, GOG.

Is this something that the GOG staff also believes of its customers? The review was already up before the purge, so they must've seen it.

I'm sure that's not the case, but it does leave the impression that GOG is clearly taking a side, alienating Russians & showing a certain disdain for some of its less-than-human (bots) customers.

It's all probably just a big misunderstanding. :)

Yeah, what's up with the "An expanded Papers Please! set in the UK"-"review" still being up?

It is utterly worthless as a review, it tells me nothing about the game itself (other than it being a Papers, Please-ripoff - gee, I could've told by looking at the screenshots!) and rather than reviewing the game, robochibi concerns himself with analysis of the other "reviews" (which have been deleted anyway). Most of the anti-"reviewers" have 100+ games on their profile, robochibi has 16. Say what you will about "Russian bots", at least they're more committed to buying games here than robochibi is... :P

To be honest, I didn't see that review as something alienating. Russians are blamed for many things (including Trump election) anyway. And obviously, especially considering the nickname, reviewer was just trolling.

However, deleting all "troll reviews" from the right and leaving "troll reviews" from the left to remain... yeah, it indeed looks like GOG takes a side.

BTW, @gogstaff: When you hover your mouse cursor over the "Store"-tab and then select "Browse all games", the picture for "All games for Mac" still has a prominent picture of FEZ on the bottom left. You might want to remove that, seeing as it's no longer available on gog.

Well, you did hack my GTA V account yesterday, and bought a GoPro on my eBay account, a couple of months ago.

Of course I recovered the account immediately & got a complete refund, but that's beside the point. I WAS HACKED BY RUSSIA!!!

I say "you", because according to all respectable news media, Russians are all exactly the same, and completely responsible for everything one of you does. #yesallruskies

GOG agrees with this, don't you GOG? ;)

Troll/fake review are being removed. I'd invite you to stop trying to create narratives while ignoring the fact reviews are being removed when found to be false. It's the weekend, we don't have staff dedicated to spamming F5 on a review page.


Anyone who keeps ignoring the removal of false reviews as a means to preach their politics will lose their ability to post for a day or two. Be sensible.

As I said, I wholeheartedly agree with the removal of such reviews. I only found it odd to see that one still up.

It wasn't a review added after the purge, it was already there with the only other 5 star review, "An actual review of the game. by boonotakota"

The only review added AFTER the deletion was "An improvement on Papers, Please by Spikey.315", one which I quite like, myself.

Be as threatening as you want, but I'm not lying. I'm being snarky, I'm being sarcastic, yes. But I'm not lying. You know this.

I wouldn't want to push a narrative or anything, but given the timing & the fact that initially only the text was removed, it's likely that it was done by the more limited powers of Mr. 209. He may be tough, but he's completely fair.

I kinda like him, actually. I hope he won't get in trouble with any higher-ups for doing this. :)
