Full metal jungle.

<span class="bold">Men of Valor</span>, an intense FPS set in the hellish battlefields of Vietnam, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com with a 40% launch discount.

We lost a lot of good men back there, 'sarge. Some died face down in the muck, some got sniped off the chopper, some got ambushed during these hopeless reconnaissance missions the boys warned you about. We came here thinking we will find honor, the chance to do good, and perhaps even help preserve our way of life. Instead we found death, despair, darkness. But also camaraderie, persistence, valor. And this is why those of us left standing continue to press on. Lead the way, 'sarge.

Hold onto your trusty rifle and join the fray, either on foot or atop a mighty piece of heavy death-dealing machinery. Become one of the unsung Men of Valor, trying to survive in the humid jungles of Vietnam that still echo with the voices of broken men and the terrifying pandemonium of chaotic battles. Then challenge your friends to join you and make their dog tags hit the mud in six different multiplayer modes taking place in vast 24-player maps. After all, it's not about who will win this famously controversial war. It's about who will have the most fun participating in it.

Join the most controversial conflict in history and fight alongside courageous <span class="bold">Men of Valor</span>, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 40% discount will last until February 16, 1:59 PM GMT.

tinyE: Vietnam? I'll pass.

tremere110: I'll pass because I'm half-Vietnamese. Feels weird going around killing when all the enemies happen to match my ethnicity (even if only partially).
Im German and for me it's also weird to kill Germans in about every WWII game. So I feel with you. :p

ThomNG: I like the orange ;) *baddeveloperlaugh-rule-the-world harharhar*

Additional titles will come soon :) but glad to finally see Men of Valor online on GOG - definitely a game which should be here!
Thanks. Please release Titan Quest Gold Edition as soon as possible. :)

JMich: Why? You think he's an agent?

stryx: It would make sense, considering that it's a NAM game.
Finally someone commenting on the reference. It only took ~4.5 hours.
Not sure if I should be glad or disappointed it took so long.
Bought. Never heard of this title. I'd definitely like to see Vietcong...

But I'm all for first person shooters on gog, no matter what the title -- new or old (though preferrably old), obscure or popular, great or "only so". The catalog of first person shooters is too small and not growing enough, I feel.

intresting
I would suggest you to take a closer reading on which platforms the game that you want are came out like Juiced: Eliminator, de Blob, Deadly Creatures, etc ... GOG is PC only!!!
Plus Mac and Linux. Nordic could always do PC ports of the games.

Nordic Strikes Again! :D
Nice release of you guys and again: It's good to have you back again here on GOG!

I'll put this one on my list, it seems to be a good shooter for shooting the waiting time for Vietcong. :)

You can contact the respective publisher - Nordic but I doubt it because the games are old and not new in order to be worth effort and money to port to PC, perhaps some games can come only on a tablet, but however it is not a realistic option, maybe in the future some remake... so do not get your hopes up and delete the wishlist games that do not belong here!

Once ready, Nordic should definitely do much like they did with Impossible Creatures: release a batch of games (in the IC case it was only one) and name em the "unexpect batch by Nordic".
Games like deBlob, Deadly Creatures, Destroy all Humans, Stuntman and etc

I'm german too and for me it's satisfying to kill German-textured pixels in mentioned games.
Rather glad that Nordic was cool enough to put more of their library on here, and this was a game I have been clamoring for. Thanks to the both of ya, GOG and Nordic.

This is kind of funny for me, but I never think anything of killing droves of English, Scots, Poles, or Americans in almost any game where that's an option for me (Medieval II, Battlefield 2, Blitzkrieg 2, Vietcong, Panzers Phase One) yet I should I ever own Theatre of War 3 I probably would not play as the North Koreans. Or at least I'd have trouble getting to that point.
Then again, the game is just not supposed to be good.

MJVandershonk: What kind of multiplayer modes are on offer? the gamecard seems a bit light on that info.
avatar
JudasIscariot: You have TCP/IP multiplayer and the servers can be hosted by players so that anyone can join regardless where they purchased the game :)
Thanks for the info Judas, Though I was specifically wondering if it was just deathmatch/team deathmatch or has some more uncommon mode like coop/CTF

also the gamecard seems to be missing the features section (singleplayer/multiplayer/coop).
Is there a chance GOG could get the rest of the Painkiller games and Red Faction 3?
