Maxvorstadt: 6 GB Graphics memory? Well, doesn`l sound as if they want to sell many copies of this game. :-D
huan: I was thinking about grabbing this, but the graphics memory is indeed insane. Install size 6GB, graphical memory 6GB - do they cache the whole game in there or what?? I usually don't pay attention to min requirements, but this it three times what I have. And not a slip on GOG release, Steam states the same number.
In a way it is high , i agree, but i have seen many videos of gamers demonstrating games and boy they do have 'monster' pc....
an affordable GPU : 359 euros:
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 G1 Gaming 6 GB Videocard
( planning to get this one)
https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N1060G1-GAMING-6GD-rev-10#kf i7 ( around 629 euro or more )
Processor Model: 8086K
Socket : 1151
Processor Cores : 6 (Hexa-Core)
Processor Speed : 4.00 GHz
Clockspeed Turbo: 5.00 GHz
Processor Cache: 12 MB
Hyper-threading: yes
Unlocked multiplier: yes
or a 'cheaper' one:
Processor Series Intel Core i7 Processor Model 9700K 3.6GHz
"only" 479 euro ( give or take a few)
ad some new mobo and other parts to create a custom build:
1500 euro maybe 1600
includes windows 10 pro if i remember correctly , ( unless i made a mistake 100 euros will be added)
A very nice setup at a max of 1700 Euro, it sounds expensive and it is, but in my case it is 'affordable' ( takes months of saving but its 'affordable) cause i really need a new one after almost 10 years.
Anyway people who have something like thgis should be able to run the game pretty well i guess, i watched some videos and the game looks very good, i love base defending and the only reason for me not to purchase it
, is not because of pc limit cause i will have a new pc , but to the fact of the engine used , that is the one and only reason i skip many games like this: the engine.
