What confuses me is why they mark the games as 18+ when they sell censored versions. What does censored mean then? What is cut and what is left?

Indeed. It just doesn't make much sense. In theory only the patches need the "Adult content inside" warning.

You can add the uncensored version for free when you buy these games, thus unlocking all the explicit naughty stuff.

EDIT:
And even with censorship the pictures are extremely sexualized and thus not for kids. Hence the reason why GOG states the rating.

They're adult games, even censored. So you have to use the 18+ rating for the content. Even with the adult images removed, the text may still have sexual situations described in it. Absolutely not for kids. Or at least those who haven't been told what Pornhub is by their friends at school, which is unfortunately a thing now.

It is all fine "in the theory", but this "patching" in reality is just a way to sneak porn into game stores and letting store companies to claim their innocence.

I don't know why, but from the first image I saw of the game, I immediately knew this was an adult game; my ero-sense must be evolving!

Hm, it seems to be a light oppai loli style of game though, not particularly my ero subgenre of choice.

By the way GOG, bring Maggot Baits please! Have I not purchased many a title and thoroughly "enjoyed" them? Are you not entertained!? XD

Cool, another classy obviously RPG Maker game in the line of several which fits right into the "I Can't Believe It's Not Loli" class of cheap porn games.

Sometimes I don't see what these games offer that 5 minutes on Danbooru couldn't, if you catch my drift.

It means it still has the Japanese censorship (i.e. mosaic of naughty bits) not all Japanese companies keep the full uncensored version or even create it in the first place to allow a fully uncensored version to exists overseas.

The gameplay. Kagura is popular with fans because they offer gameplay in addition to the adult content. You can play a fun RPG and get adult content too. In the Kagura server, a lot of the players do ask game related questions. There are difficult sections and puzzles, just like any other RPG game.

It won't happen. Remember, Seed Of The Dead 2 was considered too extreme to release with it's adult content patch.

That will be 95 by the end of the year. They keep releasing new titles all the time. Like one or two every month. They are a business, can't get upset at them for releasing product. But yeah, GOG has a while to go on that back catalog.
