It's great that some people enjoy them but I have no idea why those people do.

di0nizus: Also, are there plans for Mac/Linux versions?
There's a Mac version on Steam. Why it's not on GOG, dunno.

It's kind of a puzzle action game. You need to figure out how to handle a room and it's not all reflexes. Kind of a side-scroller Hot Line Miami, honestly. I bet it'll be very popular with retro gamers and speedrunners and the like. Has a nice 80's vibe and good synth tunes. Story is interesting and doesn't get in the way. SNES style graphics are way cooler than NES style graphics IMO. That's about it.

If you're into this kind of thing I think it's a great game so far, but if you're not then it won't change your mind or anything.
I'm gonna wishlist this for now! :)

edit: I already did :p

Ancient-Red-Dragon: Yet another game where they give Steam users Achievements, but can't be bothered to give GOG users Achievements.
I'm not sure if the GOG architecture is impossible to develop for or if the developers are too lazy to be bothered keeping an up to date GOG version. Never a good sign when they aren't willing to keep parity.

No Mac, no sale.

How does this happen so often on GOG?

To be completely honest, nothing makes it particularly unique, it's a mishmash of a bunch of other titles packaged with this peculiar art style and sound design. Then again, what it sets out to do, it does extremely well. It's basically 2D platformer Hotline Miami with a katana and the ability to slow down time (and do other time-related abilities) à lá Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. The story starts out bland enough, but as you move through the game it starts getting more and more weird (and, to me, interesting), with obvious parallels with movies like Jacob's Ladder and Drive (which was also a huge inspiration on Hotline Miami).

I think what makes this game unique is all that it blends together from other games in such a good way. Obviously, no game is meant for everyone, so if you don't like what you see, chances are you're better off avoiding it altogether. Which is fine, people play what they like to play.
Interesting but this will be a wait and see approach here, i have grown very wary of devs on here unless they have a history of keeping content and update parity with steam, can't say i personally care about mac or achievements but if they ignore it on GOG then it's a good chance they will stop release patch support here eventually.

Maybe i'll buy in a year or two maybe 5 years, who knows.

Why in GOG Katana Zero do not have achivments?
high rated
I get a bit of complaints about achievements, after all they are a feature that a certain place has and this one has not but... are they really THAT important?
This has come up a lot lately, but honeslty I find them totally insignificant if not at times annoying, with their *POP*. With this I don't mean others shouldn't enjoy them, far from it, but I really don't see them as a strong selling point.
