It’s time to discover the origins of the famous action and adventure saga published by THQ Nordic. Darksiders Genesis features a new Horseman - STRIFE, armed with deadly pistols and a razor-sharp sense of humor. The mission of our hero is to stop the mighty Lucifer and his demon hordes from upsetting the Balance. In this quest, he will be aided by another Horseman, the sword-wielding WAR.
Feels like Darksiders but in isometric, keyboard and mouse controls are good and keys can be rebound.

When solo you can swap between War and Strife, both get separate abilities etc.

Also LOCAL CO-OP
I'm catching up, still playing the first episode remaster!
Great Release! Reviews seem pretty decent

Waldschatten: Also, as much as I want to play this, the genre puts it in competition with Grim Dawn and that's a hard game to beat.
How? The games play nothing alike and are vastly different. Same camera angle does not mean same gameplay.

kud13: Can't wait to play.

Hope the devs go back and add achievements to the first 2 games, the way they 4A games did for the Metro games.
I totally agree, the first two chapters of Darksiders are now classics and deserve to have the achievements on GOG!

And Genesis looks like a beautiful spin-off, I hope more of this kind will come out in future.

Would this game work on a Geforce GT 1030?

Is this game similar to Warhammer 40K: Kill Team?
Looks interesting. I'm all for franchises that don't stick to a certain genre.
It came out on Stadia, so why is the Linux version not on GOG?

You might get it running but the experience will be shit most likely, minimum are rarely accurate but GTX 960 is listed as minimum and is around GTX 1050TI perfomance if i remember right.

Well there is no Linux version on Steam either.
Gameplay feels.exceptionally simplistic compared to previous entries in the series...
EDIT: It plays closest to Victor Vran of other games I've played. That's not necessarily a good thing as it feels closer to baby's first ARPG than it does something with a deep system like Grim Dawn.
Still, it's a nice little jaunt through some beautifully designed levels.

So the same question then. THQ Nordic is supportive of Linux releases, and Stadia release means they already made the Linux version (for Stadia). So why is it not out for normal desktop Linux?

Yes and no, they made a Stadia version not a Linux version, Stadia is basically the same as "another console version that just happen to run on Linux" , it's a controlled hardware on a fully controlled OS; like for PS4 or XBox they don't have to worry about peoples having different configuration, different hardware, different distro, etc...

I am not saying that THQ won't release a Linux version down the road, just that because a Stadia version exists definitely won't mean that a Linus version will ever be released. If anything it will probably be the opposite, IMO if Stadia, or streaming in general, becomes popular and successful it will most probably means that publishers will be a lot less likely to spend time and money releasing version for multiple OS / systems apart from the ones with the biggest market shares.
One thing I noted from the steam format is that widescreen is not implemented correctly (no surprises there, i mean they have only been available for years). On 3440x1440 FOV is apparently zoomed in:
