shmerl: So the same question then. THQ Nordic is supportive of Linux releases, and Stadia release means they already made the Linux version (for Stadia). So why is it not out for normal desktop Linux?
Yes and no, they made a Stadia version not a Linux version, Stadia is basically the same as "
another console version that just happen to run on Linux" , it's a controlled hardware on a fully controlled OS; like for PS4 or XBox they don't have to worry about peoples having different configuration, different hardware, different distro, etc...
I am not saying that THQ won't release a Linux version down the road, just that because a Stadia version exists definitely won't mean that a Linus version will ever be released. If anything it will probably be the opposite, IMO if Stadia, or streaming in general, becomes popular and successful it will most probably means that publishers will be a lot less likely to spend time and money releasing version for multiple OS / systems apart from the ones with the biggest market shares.
