gamesfreak64: Anyway a good developer makes a site that would display properly on a screen the size of a matchbox if needed....
so its a problem the webmaster have, you cannot force the whole world to use one same kind of media and screen just so they can design an easy website the challenge is to server many .
MarkoH01: I completely agree.
I also understand if you don't want to update your FF browser to the quantum version since many add ons are not compatible with it. Just for information though: I am using FF ESR 52.9 which is the latest non quantum release and it is working fine. So jusst in case GOG should not be able to fix this or in case you don't want to wait that long updating to this version should not give you any disadvantages. When GOG introduced the new web site first the front page was completely broken to me. I figured out that you can switch FF versions easily as long as you backup your profile folder completely. As I said, it is just a possible workaround if you like since I completely agree that the site should work with different browsers without any problems.
The beauty of it is the fact that when i emulate the gog site in quirktools ( quirktools dot com )
and i emulate the 1900 x 1200 resolution ( you have to enable allow scrolling ( top menu) )
the new and now on sale DO show up .... so i think its a solvable problem, but they seem to have a hard time finding it...
anyway i am not the developer of the site, have not followed any course, have no certificates for webdesigning,so its not up to me to fix it ... even if i was able to fix or have the knowhow to fix it, i probably would not tell it.... because i am a simple gamer and not paid to develop this website or any other websites for that matter.
Seems you can share a link... i will try and see if you can use it
http://quirktools.com/screenfly/#u=http%3A//gog.com&w=1920&h=1200&a=1&s=1 your screen should look something like this ( scrollbars might be visible or not depending on your resolution of your screen ( monitor)
screenshot made from my browser:
the link should show something like this: quirktoolscreens.jpg
note the horizontal scrollbars showing the screen is set to a widht of 1900 pixels and since my screen shows around 1008 ( visible) pixels or so scrollbars are visible.
