Gonchi: A lot of these games' prices are unchanged here. Did they only incorporate regional pricing where they can charge extra?
Do any games appear regionally priced for you? They have different prices for different nations, so you may be in one of the ones that gets "American" prices by default.

IAmSinistar: Gah. Thanks. I hope we can get clarity from GOG on this. Might have to start a "Games Suddenly Regionalised" thread to get their attention.
avatar
Wurzelkraft: Please do. They didn't mention additional regional pricing anywhere or did I simply miss it? I thought this was all about a fair currency conversion (except for the known "bad boys" like AoW3, D:OS, etc.) at first but this doesn't seem to be the case.
I think I will once I have a handle on the scope and nature of this change. Right now I'm frankly floored by it.

rodrolliv: Yet another thread for the same list? No. But if the purpose of said thread is to raise awareness on the issue, then it's OK I guess.
It wouldn't be a dedicated thread like this one is, which I keep maintained, but a one-off "Hey, these games are suddenly regionally priced! Comment?" one.

Could please gog put up a list with all the game prices that changed from fair pricing to regional pricing from yesterday to today since this is a bit more then what was described in the new thread today and certianly unwelcome for most european and australian buyers. Thanks!

OlliOlli is also regionally-priced and strangely enough, Shadow Warrior 2013 seems to be too (even if it is $0.50 cheaper here).

Raven - Legacy of a Master Thief is another Nordic game that will have regional pricing and won't be removed.

Guacamelee and Tales of Space too.

I think I got them all, though I can't be 100% certain.

Thanks again. This is enough for me to start the other thread with, and GOG can amend or correct where needed.

I'm in Brazil. Some of Daedelic's games have regional pricing, some like Alcatraz for example are at $10.99, Gomo is $6.99. Broken Sword 5, Broken Age and Book of Unwritten Tales seem to have the American price. Want me to list out all the prices? Not sure if you'd be interested in incorporating the different price-points to your GOGmix.

Would be interesting if someone from Russia could confirm if they're receiving the lower price-points.
Guacamelee!? No es posible! :(

And that's the Gold edition, let's wait for the Super Turbo Ripoff one.

Can you confirm Shadow Warrior's (2013) price? It's $39.49 for me.

$39.99 here.
Maybe it's just me but I get the feeling they added the following part to their news retroactively:

[...]In a perfect world we would apply the same method of pricing to all of the games we offer. However, things are a little bit more complicated, and there are some games in our catalog that follow a different region-based pricing scheme. However, we wouldn't be GOG.com if we didn't find a way to make right by the users who end up paying relatively more for such titles. Here's where the Fair Price Package comes in![...]

Here's the new thread.

Doubt there's much retroactive there, it's basically what was already the case;fair pricing package' for 'some games in our catalog that follow a different region-based pricing scheme' (fancy way of saying regionally priced games).

They were already doing that anyway.

They were but I never read that they were planning to do it on games already in their catalog. :(

Would that be the Besame Cholo Edition? Or is my Spanish off? ;)

Still not entirely convinced that's supposed to happen. Nordic leaving only makes sense to me if they didn't want their games regionally priced, which makes sense if you are trying to convert your whole catalog and are trying to get them to keep the same prices, so you don't want to give one publisher a benefit (regional pricing) over another else the others will take that chance too.

But if they *did* allow Daedelic to do so, that'd be odd.
