Prison sentences don't seem to do much here in the US, just ask any of the idiots currently hooked on meth and heroin, not to mention all the opiate painkillers.

The problem isn't the supply, despite what I posted previously. People nowadays do not value life - this is the reason for the heroin epidemic just as much as it's the reason for all the school shootings. People do not value life.

Until that changes, it doesn't matter what you do to the drug dealers, there will be replacements the next day.

Drug dealers who, unknowingly to their customers, cut their product with shit to make overdosing or even poisoning much more likely - those I'm fine with charging with murder.

It should be clarified that a lot of the problem with opiates and similar drugs here in the US comes not from the illegal importation of actual opium, but from legal prescription drugs of the opioid class. And it's a big mess here, caused in part by drug companies pushing these drugs to doctors as miracle cures for pain, and so many doctors being behind the curve on pain management.

Death for Drug Dealers sounds like a great idea. If only it would happen in the UK. I'm sick to death of living next to drug dealers, it has become standard practice here. But then again, left wingers would probably let them run free due to their human rights. The idiots that they are.

Actually, people do value life, though what life is valued varies from person to person.

Liberals do truly value life, as a whole. In particular, they truly value the diversity of life, both human and otherwise.

Conservatives, however, tend to only value the lives of people who are not yet born; once a baby is born into the world, they are no longer valued by conservatives. Well, on second thought, they might value the lives of some people, but only if they fit in and are the right kind of people.

(Note: This post is US centric, and, of course, there are exceptions to every generalization one can make about people.)
