On Linux, Midnight Commander. It's nice that I can use the same one remotely through SSH.
On Windows, Total Commander. Easily worth the price tag.
When I'm editing files in a project folder, I usually reach for Ctrl+P. Same shortcut in VSCode and my local Vim.
If editing files not in a project folder, there's always good old :Sex

(Clarity because I am old now and just realized lots of people won't understand ;_; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxIPcbmo1_U )
No, to use up all the space for useless stuff, just install Gnome & Flatpack. You'll be out of space before you even know where all the RAM has gone.
