In the most strict sense of "point and click":

Hero of the Kingdom II could be considered some type of casual p&c mixed with RPG-style quests and resource mangement.

The Quest for Glory series has RPG elements and combat as well.

Some have smaller 'action' sections but they're few and far in between and you have to do a lot of pointing-and-clicking anyway to reach them (e.g. shootouts in Gemini Rue, fist fights in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, motorbike brawls in Full Throttle etc.).



In the broader sense of "adventure game", not necessarily requiring you to "click" with the mouse:

Off the top of my head, Venetica pretty much felt like an adventure game / RPG mash-up to me (there is fighting and leveling up and such, but many problems are solved like adventure game puzzles).

Dreamfall - The Longest Journey features some action elements and stealth sequences.

Fahrenheit / Indigo Prophecy is an adventure game but rather based on Quick Time Events than puzzles (which in my book makes it worse, but your mileage may vary).

Many Telltale games are really light on the puzzle side as well and include action/QTE elements and the illusion of choices instead (The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands, Game of Thrones - A Telltale Series, Minecraft - Story Mode etc.). Life is Strange manages to improve this formula by removing QTEs and adding more interesting gameplay elements.

The so-called Walking Simulators are adventures without (or with fewer and easier) puzzle elements, too (Gone Home, Tacoma, Firewatch etc.)

I just want to step in here and say that whoever of y'all that are downrepping fox, stahp already. She's a valid member of us regulars here on the GOG forums and while she has a different way of posting in regards to her grammar, she doesn't deserve all the hate.

Every so often I've been playing Uplink: Hacker Elite a little bit more and to me it seems like a point-n-click game.

It's very pointer oriented. I've yet to discover any keyboard shortcuts.

There is some typing that needs to be done like in some point-n-click adventures, and then of course spelling matters. However, so far it has been very little typing, and there isn't really any guessing what needs to be typed because it's been given in the assignment. With that said, it does make very apparent the lack of copy/paste, and that's odd considering its theme of using a computer.

It feels a little bit like Myst to me because I'm not playing a character, instead I'm just myself and it's okay I don't know anything beforehand. A lot of other games require I deal with my amnesia of two or three decades for the main character, meaning it'll make more sense playing those other games a second time around once I'm fully aware of their worlds. Uplink seems more re-playable than Myst because it's okay if I do have prior knowledge.

Uplink has been an interesting, if perhaps unexpected, point-n-click adventure. Very easy to slip into, though it does sometimes feel like I'm troubleshooting or trying to figure out workarounds. I'd be getting further into it if wasn't currently trying to work something out with Might and Magic VI.
