Been playing "Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones" but the game still have problems. :(

So I'm looking for a good RPG game.

So what you think about Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire. Is it worth buying now ? Not too many bugs ?

I know the story in it, isn't very good. But I don't care much about. I'm mostly interested in exploring the world, finding secrets, etc... what say you ?

Forget it. The regional price is way too high in comparison with steam version. I'll pirate it instead. Fuck this bullshit!

Santa hates regional prices as well. He's with me on that. Ask him yourself, if you don't believe me.

I'm royally annoyed with price differences like that for exact same game.

If devs think it's ok. Then I think it is also ok to pirate their games. ;)

Don't worry about it as most in here, have a patch over their eye.
It's not as good as PoE1 in my opinion, but it's still a good CRPG and worth paying for.
Bought it day 1 on Steam.

Never encountered any gamebreaking or CTD bug.

The game has insane content and replay value (especially with the DLCs) and a very flexible difficulty.

It's only con (last I time I played it, at least) are the long loading screens.
Better than the one but the level cap is still too low damn
I got a lot out of it. Beautiful graphics, great character leveling system with ridiculous amount of options (between interesting sub-classes and multiclassing ...) good itemization, good side quests. Meh main quest, but that's to be expected in an open-world game it seems.

While I very much agree with the statement, one'd think that in the particular case of PoE2 and Canada it would be an argument in favor of buying on GOG, because here CA doesn't get a regional price, base price applies, while on Steam I see there is a regional price. It happens to be a regional discount, and as a side note I really don't think Canada is a poor country to have such a thing justified, but that makes it regional pricing regardless, and how can you say you're against the concept when you end up lashing out just for the fact that one store DOESN'T apply it to your particular region?

I had to much to drink yesterday. so i'm unable to read, wright, or/and comprehend much with that bell ringing in my head.

so, ill put it simple:

on Steam it's - CDN$ 85.99 ; on GOG - CDN$ 99.39

the result: piracy because of unreasonable prices!

the end.
For me the price is 27.99 euro in both store for the obsidian version

Try to read this when sober, then.
Can't find the Obsidian Edition (since I assume that's what you're referring to) on SteamDB to see the pricing info, and can't figure out how to get the CAD price through API at a quick glance, so I just looked at the base game. That lists a base (US) price of $49.99, while for Canada it's CDN$56.99, which converts to $43.46, so you get a regional discount for being in Canada, which discount is basically the same, percentage-wise, as the difference you list there. If you wouldn't get that discount, you should be paying about CDN$65.55. On GOG you pay $49.99, so exactly the US price, which at GOG's exchange rates, which are a little off, converts to CAD$66.29.
So, again, if you are bothered by regional pricing (and everyone damn well should be!), that's actually a point in favor of GOG there, for your particular region at least.
Meanwhile, for me over here the full price of the Obsidian Edition is $77.49, which at GOG's rates converts to CDN$102.70. Smaller difference than for most, but nevertheless a HIGHER price than the base one, and a higher one than yours as well, and when you also compare the incomes and standards of living in the two places, THIS is a very good reason to complain. The fact that you, in a wealthy country, have to actually pay the normal price and not get a discount isn't.
