I was just trying to recall the time the last Insomnia Sale started, and I do believe you may be right, so I hope there's still a chance of something showing up.

Just checked. Gaben o Clock came and went, the Steam sales have rolled over to the usual weekly deals from Monday, and STILL no activity from GoG.

This is becoming alarming!

I LOVE the fact that we NEVER lose our hope for a new sale.
I mean for the last 8 hours it's been "ok let's wait till the clock hits xx:00 and then we'll know" :D
It's a bit like waiting the whole day for the mailman to come with a big package which can't fit your mailbox. You start waiting at 8AM until he/she arrives :o)

Oh well, there's a Simpsons episode on TV and I still have some youtube videos to watch ^o^

It was also a Monday evening I seem to remember. I think there were still weekly staff picks that week though.

I'm going to give them another fifteen minutes or so, in case someone is late hitting a launch button, and then I'm gogging off for the night.

Dinner to eat, DVDs to watch, books to read etc.
But hope will spring up again tomorrow.... ;)

Yes it is. The official abbreviations for the four time zones in the 48 contiguous U.S. states are as follows (with the DST variant in parentheses following the Standard Time version): EST (EDT), CST (CDT), MST (MDT), PST (PDT). "PDST", "EDST", etc. have never (that I can remember or find evidence of, anyway) been used as common abbreviations. Certainly not in my adult life, anyway (and I'm 36). DST by itself, however, is the common abbreviation for Daylight Saving (not 'Savings') Time in general, so maybe that's what you were thinking of. That, or West Coasters really do speak a different language from the rest of us. =P

It's true - things are different out here. Parts of my neighborhood joined the new North Korean time zone 2 months ago. :)
