GOG has been in finacial trouble for the last couple of years, around the start of the pandemic this has been known for a bit, is gog fine? Dunno, it might not be it might be. time will only tells sadly lukin
my suggestion is to back up what you can of your collection and wait out the storm best bet so far.
Sometimes it does as me as well, but sadly this is what happens with companies sometimes. but personally lukin I think the Era of when gog was a small team with a big vision and loads contact is era long past and its best for you and all of us to move past it, even if gog does recover financially in the future and things trend up as I stated before its likely to not change because I stated before after some of the really REALLY bad controversies here on the forums I think A) staffers where ordered to cut down on contact for their own safety and B) have moved most of their interaction to the gog subreddit which is easier to moderate.
all in all lukin I am glad you made this post, I dont know how helpful I can be in reassuring you but just hope for the future back up what games you can and keep a smile on your face and hold on to the memories
thats what I think about it.

Lukin86: Because for information most of the support staff has been fired (all non-English support staff have been fired) and English part of the team too. For that we now have a bot that filters to support.
most is not all and the information was quite vague, from what gog staffers I have talked with on and off over the past couple of years its that most of the support staff is still here minus a few people, and most non-english support is cut down to 2 or 3 people. not good but not bad either, the bot was put in not to replace support, but maybe lighten their workload, but as most things GOG does it was implemented very very poorly to the point of uselessness. Lukin86: All non-English community managers are also fired. Even some of the gog staff who were on the English gog forum 1-2 years ago like ashleee, sysia_GOG have disappeared.
I don't know about the community managers being fired or not so I cant help you there, all I could find about the non-english stuff is hearsay and I am not going to spend hours filtering through it. as for the people here a couple of years ago once again hearsay and rumor I heard ashleee quit and I think maybe sysia is still around, but as I postulated before I think the fact that gog staff arent as interactive anymore is more due to personal safety concerns, but more on that later.
Lukin86: That's why I created this post. Because not a question that gog grows up as some people think since gog fired rather these community and support staff. But rather than gog seeks to save money while cutting contact with the community for this concentrate only for sale.
That what happens to most businesses when they go into survival mode which GOG sadly had to enter with all the recent trouble since 2019, which as I stated before is the sad end of an era, all in all lukin I am glad you made this post, I dont know how helpful I can be in reassuring you but just hope for the future back up what games you can and keep a smile on your face and hold on to the memories
