Sad news, that more and more self-made engines are being discarded in favour of generic multi-purpose products like Unreal. :(
However, Unreal has native Vulkan rendering and Linux support. So, it will not cost much to implement, if CD Projekt really cares.
For the sake of competition and, therefore, technical progress.)
In addition, dedicated software usually works better, does not include tons of bloat code and is easier to adjust to particular needs.
I agree. A new story with different characters in the same setting would be much more interesting. ;)

Also I think, it would be good, if they allow to choose your class ( witcher, sorcerer, archer, etc. ) or even create a party-based game this time.)
