Maybe, but providing multiple installation packages would also increase the workload for GOG. Currently, in the few cases a language choice is given in the installation it is just that, durin installation, not download. There's only one installation package for each game ( and in some cases, as is evident by this list, several languages are installed and the option of which to use is given later if at all).

I guess another reason for this is to make it easier for the customer. Maybe there is also a licensing reason and it's only allowed to offer one version and not multiple with different languages. As far as I remember GOG already said due to licensing reasons they can't offer the DosBox games also just in zip-files, they need to use the installer.

As another example, Dotemu offers multilanguage support up to 5 languages. As far as I can see they use a kind of module system - containers for the common files, manuals and for every language. You can easily extract the package and keep only the language modules you want. So, it wouldn't be a big deal for them to offer the different language modules seperated, in fact they would save a lot of bandwith, but they also offers only one big installer.

Infos about this release:

Der Patch für TPR ist nun als Release Candidate 1 verfügbar. Es sind in den letzten Monaten keine neuen Bugs hinzugekommen. Somit ist es nicht nötig die Release weiter hinauszuzögern.
Es wird vorerst nur eine deutsche Version von SR3 geben, da ich nur über DE-Dateien verfüge. Ich beende somit die Arbeiten am Patch, die "Litude" vor langer Zeit begonnen und aus privaten Gründen nicht fertig gestellt hat.

I can decipher a scarce few words of Portugese, but not nearly enough to navigate my way around that site in a decently deterministic manner, so It'd be nice if you could dig up the correct link for me.

*Instead of keeping title letters as a single unit, I now split the listing between games, meaning the listing for a letter can cross over to the next post (B and O currently do).
* GOGMixes for single languages (not done by me) have been added to the first post.

Also, damn, I've had to begin using the 9th post. Wonder how soon I'll need to make yet another new one. In a pinch, I could use the 11th as well (that should give me roughly another 17000 characters), though it was meant as the start of the discussions.
