I don't understand why not more people are entering this contest. Was under the impression that gamers love taking screenshots and getting free games. :<

I thought the same. It's a pity I don't owe Darkness 2 on PC, otherwise I would take an epic shot of a favorite npc there. If anyone has played that game you can try guess what npc that is.

Oh. Is it Johnny Powell? Him and the Imp thingy are the only ones I vividly remember from playing that.

For me is a coincidence; these days I don't have much free time for gaming, let alone installing various games and loading stored savegame files which is something I've done in the previous contests. Having said that, I'll see what Skyrim* has to offer in terms of NPCs (in my hundreds of hours I spend, I don't think I found a memorable NPC -- maybe it's because I haven't played the main storyline yet..). Now that I think of it, I could take some photos of the guards; after all, "until I took an arrow in the knee" was trending some time ago, right? :P

* it's always present on my HDD because I can't bother installing a dozen mods plus having to deal with Steam (it's been in offline mode ever since.... I can't really remember.)

Darkling. Though Johnny Powell is entertaining as well.

I have a ton of screenshots saved and usually sift through them when a new contest starts, so I kinda figured that was a common thing.

That's just because Skyrim doesn't have any memorable NPCs. Dragon Yoda maybe, but other than that. Nah.

Ah. Incidentally, I was gonna mention the Darkling first but. He's almost a player character, considering you can throw him around and ... Huh. I don't wanna spoil anything in case you haven't reached the point I'm thinking of right now.

I must be plating game wrong. I beat so many RPG, played even more unbeaten. You'd think I have tons of memorable interaction with NPC. But when I am to choose any, I can't even remember a single NPC I consider intereating but dear princess Zelda from oot. What's wrong with me?

In regards of the screenshots. Well while I hold these contests, because they are fun and I like the screens, I only have two games where I actually have tons of screenshots from. Normally I don't take screens when playing :D


Nothing wrong with that, everyone plays things differently ;-)

My Favourite NPC

These faceless, nameless enemies in F.E.A.R. are my favorite. I like how they look. Gameplay wise, they have a good amount of toughness (not too difficult, not too easy) and decent intelligence. They're behavior has just enough randomness to make fighting them incredibly engaging, even when replaying the same section over and over. I never get tired of shooting them. They even spout off things you'd expect a soldier to say, making it more immersive.

I particularly like shooting them up close right as they pull the trigger, causing them to fire wildly in random directions as they die in slow motion. It's like a beautiful dance of death.

FYI, I won't have internet access for the first couple weeks in November.
