I wasn't really satisfied with the graphic quality of my original screenshots so I went back and modded "Bridge Commander" with the "Kobayashi Maru Mod" to increase the quality level and add more ship models. Check them out below.

drealmer7: Have you guys played Interstate '76? It takes driving sims to a whole new level!!!!! That's my favorite sim ever (flight or driving.)
Yes, I've played it a long time ago. Not my kind of thing for sure. It's not a sim though, it's just a vehicular combat game. I don't remember having any sophisticated physics regarding the driving part and honestly, I fail to see how it brings driving sims to a whole new level... But please, do post some screenshots!

It has 2 modes action/simulation. One made it a bit more arcadey, while simulation had real physics. They even had it based to a high degree on the cars themselves, tires, breakes, engines, frames, etc., everything that you upgraded with etc., when you could salvage or buy different stuff, as well as how the different roads vs. dirt vs. oil slick, etc. affected the cars, AND, how the missles, mortars, and different caliber weaponry HIT the cars affected the physics.

That is how it takes driving sims to that next level, added combat. Sure there are flight-sims with combat, but not many car ones, all the car games that have combat are arcade/action, not sim, as far as I know, that is. In I'76 there is also a "choose a different vehicle and go into combat" type arena and maps you can go around in destroying great AI enemies. Very very well done all around.

The story, missions and maps, music, combat, are all top-notch for Interstate "76, imo. To me, it is one of my top 3-5 games of all time still.

Still have to get SSs, I got distracted elsewhere!

I'm going to see if I can get some SSs from that now...
I played it a bit at the time,i remember i was curious about it because they talked about how they were inspired by the movie Duel even though at the time i was more interested in playing the first Driver :D

How does the gog version runs?

I'll post some other screens in the meantime,a little bit of sailing in the witcher and a bit of casual driving in hot pursuit

Hey, cool, we´ve got a contest again!
Having played very little in the last few months I´m not very confident that I´ll find appropriate---but hey, nobody knows what to come. ;)

Actually I think it might be one of the most underloved classics in the catalogue. I think it could do for some fixing up (textures and graphic support) and you might have to do a little work to get it to dispaly properly on your system. Check the sub-forums for lots of help on it though if there are issues. I also think the sound FX could use a rehaul but the soundtrack sounds great still!

If you can get it to display correctly (with movies too), I think it is great, and worth a shot, really. Gamepad works great too for it.

I could probably buy it the next time it goes on sale(with the flame in the flood and probably x-rebirth my gaming budget is a little on the short side)i just watched a video of it running on win7 (that was my main concern since it's not listed on the gamecard) and watched the other day this very video about the game, weird in a good way, cars, mayhem, funky music and...poetry
Missed the beginning of the thread but saw it bumped up so here's my submission (yeah, I'm in!)

So with the latest update of GTA Online, I fell in love with this car has when it's fully tuned (it costs more than a house, argh!) you can add Princess Robot Bubblegum painting on it, now it's currently my favorite means of transportation as it's fast, easy to drive and looks so fucking cool.

Now you could ask: What The Fuck is Princess Robot Bubblegum???

It's an anime which appears on TV in GTA 4&5. Here's the gta4 episode which is too funny IMO ^o^

Anyway, my car is so great that even mere mortals are scared of its über-awesoness as you can see in the picture when I was just shopping for some new clothes :o)

EraVasher: ... As for reshade,i'll leave some before\after screens i took with race07,...
Looks great, well done.
Some more photos from GTR2. I had a blast racing with that purple E36 @ Suzuka. Bad choice of tires (soft slicks) and an overcorrection had me losing the back end completely at K3, ending on the sidewall at the 24th lap.... :P

It is part of the Festival of Speed mod, a very nice mod featuring some great classic cars.
