Quick tip/suggestion: How about highlighting those games that are specifically Steam-exclusive?
By the way, Quake, Quake 2 and Quake 3 can legitimately have source engines used with them by the way to get around CEG, if that's any help.

These are the ones in the main list and amok's list that are Steamworks exclusives (i.e. they're only available from Steam, or buying them elsewhere only nets you a Steam key).
All Zombies Must Die
Lightfish

Yes there is this problem too. Luckily it's mostly for "older" games, most recent one can be moved without issue (patching them or installing extension/DLC once they are moved is another story though)

A.R.E.S.: Extinction Agenda is not DRM-free. I've tried running it without the Steam client installed and the game crashes with "ARES has stopped working".
I assume that you're talking about the fact that the vast majority of them have been in indie bundles?

It looks like it is mostly indies. Which furthers the notion that the publishers can decide if they want the Steam DRM. I wonder if AAA titles simply haven't been tested yet or if they really are proportionally more DRM'd.

I took it down for now; were you copying it to a different computer or was it the same one the game was originally installed on?
