Linux gets better all the time, and we don't have a lot of the same security concerns that Windows users have. I use both Windows and Linux, and I have consoles too. I am just tired of people acting like evangelists for mega corps, which you are doing right now. The fact is that the better Linux is the more it can pressure Microsoft to have to improve. You brought up Windows, not me. So why did you derail the conversation back on page 1. I find it funny when the things you are pointing out are things you actually started. It's kind of funny how high your level of hypocrisy is. And yes, I am against corporations, including Microsoft who have been abusing the rights of people all over the place. I am all for more options being on the table. I think that is a good thing. You want one overlord who can tell you how to game.

On the topic of reliability, I'll take the occassional application/configuration bug like you have (I'm sure it's easily fixed, too) over unavoidable forced updates from MS that have on more than one occasion resulted in widespread massive data loss.
