The problem is, I am NOT a US citizen, and therefore I have absolutely no voice regarding the issues over there.

This thread is simply a yell in a random direction. I've done this everywhere I can, exactly because I do not know of any real solution & I'm just hoping that these desperate cries can reach an ear somewhere, somehow, that knows how to at least set things in motion.

I do like your solution of separate areas for kids inside public locker rooms & since they're a much larger percentage of the population than the trans people, I wonder why their needs are not being met first.

I don't know if you're afraid of me or the Social Justice Warriors, since you haven't expressed your opinion yet, but either way, you shouldn't be afraid of doing so.

Everyone has a right to expressing their points of view... even if SJWs abuse that right with follow-up coordinate attacks & public shaming of everyone who bleats even slightly off-key.

We can't allow these people to continue raking up victories by keeping our mouths closed. Pretty soon they'll move on to crucifying people on the streets.

I think this thread may have run its course, as the people who were likely to read it have probably already done so.

I was also unusually active in the first few pages because I was trying to stop anyone from deviating the topic from child safety to other personal agendas that are related with this law. In that, at least, I seem to have succeeded somewhat.

Other derails are perfectly fine, as long as they veer completely off the issue.

I will tell a relevant anecdote that happened just yesterday & I might just move away from the issue completely, unless someone brings up good points worth discussing. The topic has been raised & discussed. That was my sole intention.

Just yesterday, my 5 year old nephew decided he'd jump off his bedroom window to the street. It's a ground floor window & he can easily jump from that height. The problem was that a car could be passing at that moment.

Why did he do it? Because he's 5 & it was a dare with his older sister. Not that his sister dared him. He just dares himself some times. So he hopped on to the window & his sister managed to hold on to his legs & started screaming for help, completely desperate, because the little brat is as strong as a small ox.

Later that day, I asked him what the hell was he thinking when he decided to do that. His reply was a very simple "I wanted to bust my head open."

Now, since I'm a backwards, intolerant, stupid relic that was raised in a savage era of unfairness, when everybody had to shape up & stop whining, I took that reply as a sarcastic wiseass crack.

Unfortunately the poor repressed little child doesn't have a progressive, modern-thinking, social justice family, so his head remained completely uncracked.

I'm sure that if the world was a fairer place, he'd've been born in a household that would unquestioningly support his decision of cracking his head open & would proceed to find a medical doctor willing to do so, so that the child could live his life the way he chose, head cracked open, because we all know that the decisions we made when we were 5 are the decisions that we lived with ever since.

Children are obviously wise, prescient & far-seeing enough to know who they are or will be, even at the age of 7, like stated so many times by some people in this thread, so parents should immediately support a sex change, if that's what the child wants. Because there's no way they're going to change their minds later, or anything.

I can't wait - that is bitter, acidic sarcasm, in case you need it explained - for the "trans children" of today to grow up to be adults & ask their parents "Why did you do it? Why did you allow my mutilation?"

To which of course, the reply will be "That's what you wanted when you were 7. Don't you remember? We were only trying to be supportive of your choices."

There are mentally ill people everywhere, but in the US, instead of being confined to places of treatment, they are allowed to roam free to spread their disease to the weak-willed majority of the population.

There are no such thing as trans children! And all you people in this thread who are enabling a child's passing whim, sometimes of your own sons & daughters, just so you can brag to the other perpetually inebriated soccer moms & their beta, emasculated husbands that your child "is trans" & aren't you the progressive parent?

Trans children do, in fact exist.

The American Academy of Pediatrics agrees with me. One very important quote from that page:

If an emotionally stable teen begins to suspect he or she might be trans, then I'm all for supporting it.

And if that turns out to be what they do want, then go for it. Fine.

But never at a young age.

There's a huge difference between denying teens everything they want, especially when they are already able to make their own choices & immediately acting upon a little child's every whim, even if the results are invariably the same - eventually tragic.

So all I'm saying is, exercise some judgement for the very young children who are obviously incapable of doing it themselves.
