It's possible, but there is a lot of indoctrination here. For example girls wear pink and boys don't. My son claims he doesn't like pink or purple, but that's just because they are 'girl colours'. Who picks these colours? Society. Girls and boys are pushed in certain directions in things like looks from a young age. That's what makes men who wear dresses trans, but there's no problem with women who wear trousers. (Not so long ago it would have been strange for women to wear trousers, but now we've grown past that. We haven't grown in the other direction.)

Also, differences aren't a problem, and neither is noticing them. Just because a boy is different from a girl doesn't mean that the girl suffers in any way by looking at a boy. It's just that we as a society worry what this can lead to, so we condition the girl to fear seeing a naked man. In societies in which people have fewer inhibitions regarding nudity, it would seem totally normal to the girl.

How well do you sleep at night? Does your conscience bother you?

You didn't expressly state that, you stated that parents could protect their children until they were old enough to go by themselves and then said that a 14 year old boy did had a chance of protecting himself against men. I took that as suggesting that was when you thought a boy was old enough to go to the toilet by himself. I guess I misunderstood, I'm not sure why you're talking about 14 year olds, then.

I didn't say you're ok with grown men being naked near boys, I said "But from you last comment it appears you are totally ok with men using toilets with little boys." Do you get naked when you go to the toilet? Is that where this comes from?

I just don't understand the logic behind your complaint. I'm trying to understand what you're scared of.

Originally it seemed to me that you were scared of pedophiles (but only pedophiles who attack girls, not pedophiles who attack boys), then I thought you were worried about pedophiles who attacked boys as well, then you seemed to be scared of 14 year old girls getting raped, now I'm not sure.

Yes, but there's a reason we condition them. The same reason we condition them to refuse candy from strangers & never get into smelly vans with an old, stained mattress in the back.

As long as those "people" are out there, we have to do this.

As for colours & other, less obvious stuff I won't argue that most people do, in fact, condition their children on those things, but the answer isn't to allow a child with an extremely limited life experience to choose their own gender.

Just for the record, no one conditioned my eldest niece to like pink, but she does. The youngest girl chose blue. The boy chose red. So what?
