Not in.

but very cool giveaway! Thanks for doing it!
Thanks for the generosity, BeatriceElysia!
Not in, +1 for giveaway.
Wow! That's a super nice giveaway, BeatriceElysia!
Thanks for the chance and count me in, por favor.

Past times + interesting... let's try history of one species + some geography...
Horses first evolved in North America but went extincted there. They appeared again when the European conquistadors arrived in late 15th century.
I think I meet the criteria to enter (if you need additional info, ask for it), so if that's true... I am entering. And above that, thank you for the opportunity, even if I don't qualify.

Not quite sure what qualifies as interesting info about past times - if you mean personally or just generally so here's the latter -

Murderers in medieval Ireland were given to the deceased’s family as slaves if they failed to pay a hefty fine to buy their freedom. The family could then legally kill the murderer themselves.
TheMonk, it's fine if you fill at least one (first) requirement.
Not in since I already won one of your giveaways. But nonetheless I would like to tell a fun fact I learned not long ago:

In Germany we have this saying: "Seinen Senf dazugeben". The exact translation is "to add one´s mustard" and it means to add one´s opinion unasked. If a person annoys you by repeatedly adding their opinion to other´s conversations, you can say something like "Do you always have to add your mustard?"

Okay, here is the funny part: This saying stems from medieval times when mustard was so expensive that only the wealthiest people could afford it. So when a wealthy person invited some guests for dinner it could happen that this person wanted to show their wealth by adding expensive mustard to the meals, no matter whether it even fit or not.

So imagine, you are sitting there as guest, eating your cream cake with strawberries and suddenly the host puts a large portion of mustard on top of it. And then imagine screaming at the host, "Do you always have to add your mustard?"
I love history, and I love the Middle Ages. You can count me in.

The War of the Roses encompasses one of the most brutal perionds in medieval Europe. (It inspired Game of Thrones, but has a better ending) It all started when Henry Bolingbroke overthrew King Richard II, becoming King Henry IV. His descendant Henry V was well liked due to his successful campaign in France, but died at an early age. This left the throne to Henry V's unstable child, who became King Henry VI. The king's incompetence and madness led to an uprising by House York, who claimed the right to the throne from Richard II's bloodline. Edward of York took the throne and had Henry killed in prison, just like Henry Bolingbroke had done to Richard II decades earlier. After Edward's death, the crown is seized by his brother Richard, who imprison's Edward's sons in the Tower of London, never to be seen again. Richard III's ruthlessness can't save him from another coup, however, which restores House Lancaster to the throne. (Evidence suggests he was not the hunchbacked monster from Shakespeare, but portraying him as gleefully evil makes the story more interesting) Henry VII secured the Lancastarian reign for years to come by marrying a York, ending the War of the Roses.

Even if I don't win, thanks for letting me share one of my favorite pieces of history.
That's quite a nice giveaway, thanks.

Not in as I have a standard edition, great game... need to get that DLC's one day... :)

Thanks for the GiveAway!

Thank you, I'd like to be in if I may. I've had it on my wishlist for a long time now (first standard edition, then the Royal Edition).

Did you know that in medieval Europe you've got to pay for your sins? I'm mean, LITERALLY pay? Every sin had its own price to pay like, let's say, for a lie you had to pay a considerable amount of money / gold / other goods. It was especially common in eastern Europe countries like... Poland or other slavic countries ;) Religion was one of the most important thing in life of a typical medieval citizen anyway, so it wasn't really that weird. Would it be now i wonder? ;)

BranjoHello: Horses first evolved in North America but went extincted there. They appeared again when the European conquistadors arrived in late 15th century.
Extinct animals don't just appear again - they just don't exist anymore (without Jurassic Park style trickery, that is).
Not in, very generous giveaway though!

From what I've heard, those who enjoy history will not like it, because it's a pretty inaccurate fantasy version of history. ;)

Completely wrong. Around 5 million years ago proto-horses evolved world-wide, most notably the steppes of Eurasia and the Great Plains of North America. Around 15,000 years ago (late Pleistocene), Equus ferus could be found in Europe, Eurasia, and North America, as evidenced by discovered fossil bones. The horse became extinct in North America around 10,000 years ago. It was reintroduced by man. Wild horses in America are really feral horses.
Thanks for your generosity! Not in but hopefully someone will have a really great time playing the game. It looks great!. I'm a medieval RPG fan but this is the first time i'm going to try something without spells & creatures.
