Gratz. I just made it to 1500 the other day. (Thank GOG for the sale; got stuck on the icky number too long for my liking.) I'm not planning to
win all of them, but only a few are genuinely so terrible that I'm not going to launch them at all; and even those come with extras worth the sale price.
For example: the massive pile of idiocy that is the Stalker games. I'm a particle physicist and I live in Russia; I used to work as a secretary of sorts for the guy who invented the concrete for the sarcophagus, and
I can't even, what the holy cockshitting fuck. For all the
snake people here who don't get it, it's 2016 now. It was 15 years from 1986 to 2001 (when 9/11 happened), and it's been 15 years from 9/11 to this day. Imagine the premise of Stalker applied to Ground Zero. No, I'm not complaining it's disrespectful or anything (although of course it is), it's just mindbogglingly stupid.
But they come with FLAC soundtracks, surely they're worth $2, right?
Or there's Asshole Simulator 2014. I've got one IRL, I don't need a simulator. But again, it's got a FLAC soundtrack by a composer with name-recognition, and there haven't been many of them historically: let's see, Kirill Pokrovsky, Mark Morgan, Austin Wintory, Carlos Viola, Pablo Vega, Jake Kaufman, Danny Baranowsky and that one guy. Obviously worth $2, even if the game is cat puke.
