And i'm amazed at how many hits returned.... These guys are all over the place.... Tech forums, Reading groups, Gift shops. Like what's app man?

Is this someone's idea of fun? Is this a forefront for a much eviller scheme?
It's spam and presumably just mass hosed onto anyone whose code is clearly shown to be bad enough to you know, not have spam controls.

Aha, such as the many fora on the internet still getting by with prehistoric means. I get you. Still the verdict, it's just spam... It more seems like kids playing with toys or something similar.
doesn't seem to have any less value than the usual spam forum games

The eye of the beholder eh...... There are so many factors included.... I am just trying to wrap my head around the image of people 'releasing' code onto the web that end with 'irritating' people anywhere.
Does it report back these days? Look dad, we spread 10k of messages today.
Also, the infection zones...... i happen to know a couple of other forums that seem to 'share' the pre-historical factor in ways of visibility, it looks old maybe it runs on 'old technology' too. That seem to be invincible concerning little hackers looking to level up their 'voodoo'
It is just weird.... to me .... as an uninitiated to the deeper shallows of information technology
Out of curiosity I used Google translate to find out what it's about. It's Korean (I guessed as much from the shape of the characters) and says "Office Gangnam Office Dotcom Gangnam Spa Gangnam Kiss Room Gangnam Office". Even when translated it's gibberish? What on earth is a 'gangnam' but for a catchy song that is better in it's Gandalf Style parody form?

Gangnam is one of the richest districts of Seoul. Think Beverly Hills.

Basically, more places should adopt the SomethingAwful approach to user control. 10bux or keep lurking. It gives a lot of thought to put access behind a payment because you consider, "Should I really do that?"

I recall this idea being floated before, both here and other places. Those sort of threads turn into SolutionGuy vs HypotheticalDude.
(totally inaccurate recreation incoming)

SolutionGuy: Make posting a privilege, have at least any one not-free game and you can post.
HypotheticalDude: But what about new potential customers?
SolutionGuy: Okay, those accounts can post to existing threads but not make new threads.
HypotheticalDude: But what about GOG's really bad search and some people getting snarky about bumping old threads?
SolutionGuy: Fine. Accounts without a paid-for game can make only one new thread per day.
HypotheticalDude: But I can imagine a scenario where a new person who has not yet bought a game needs to make four new threads on their first day. We don't want to discourage a potential customer for GOG!!!
SolutionGuy: If that far-fetched scenario is what you're worried about, then what is your solution to stop spambots?
HypotheticalDude: I don;t know, I'm just brainstorming.

Thanks. Must be an expensive office the bot is spamming about then.

The point is to get juice in search engines by being on reputable sites. The more sites they are on, the higher their results are in search results. They don't cars about us seeing it and falling for the scam, they care about being high enough on the list when rando searches for what they're "selling" that they show up with (more) legitimate purveyors of such.
Whenever someone googles a foreign bot a monkey gets its wings. Or something like that.

Oppa Gangnam style!

But yes, it really looks like mass spamming succeeding with the lowest security coding on the net.
coldly stares at the forum

So, by posting about a certain product in many places, this helps more or less like the good ol'd posterboy who's giving away advertising merch for free on the streets hoping to get some 'renown' for the company they work??
