Even though I am not a fan of these games, during the past few days I grew tired of GOG constantly breaking the throne in my face, so much that it actually has the opposite effect: now I will surely never even think of buying that game.
maybe someone should make a thread about it. :P

Stop posting endless topics on the same subject...that's GOG's task.
If it makes anyone feel better, I've deleted history/cache/whatever else through CCleaner, and did not have the ad pop up.

You didn't remove cookies. If you remove them, banner reappears.

Just open gog.com in a new private/incognito window and you'll see it again.
