What is that front page, it's completely obnoxious, like a browsing hijacking porn ad, even Valve don't shove their games on release in your face in such an overt way.

I know right? I have had it come up like three for four times.

Even though I am not a fan of these games, during the past few days I grew tired of GOG constantly breaking the throne in my face, so much that it actually has the opposite effect: now I will surely never even think of buying that game.

How does that work? Based on cookies? If so, it's not going to work for anyone who values their privacy and therefore deletes cookies often.

Stop posting endless topics on the same subject...that's GOG's task.

If it makes anyone feel better, I've deleted history/cache/whatever else through CCleaner, and did not have the ad pop up.

You didn't remove cookies. If you remove them, banner reappears.

Just open gog.com in a new private/incognito window and you'll see it again.
