GamesMaster16: for me its showing me less then it was when they were bundled, example Battle Isle the bundle has 5 games the seperated ones show me 3, I realize they might not be done but, this is a trend I don't care for much
there are still there : search historyline 1914-18 and incubation.... granted that's not nice how to display them in the shelf ... especially in list view.........>_<

mrkgnao: Hint: The fourth is under H, The fifth under I.
how does Battle Isle 93 start under 'H' ? it shows me 1 2 and 3 93 is MIA and I realized after I counted the manuals that incubation is serperate so its missing 1 not 2

ok my bad, but when the game 1st came out it was a number only

update, checked the docs for 93 THIS is the title

Battle Isle ´93 - The Moon of Chromos

again I ask......why its down in the H's? it has no 'history line anyplace for the title, it seems GOG has done what they shouldn't have, break what wasn't broken in the 1st place

Indeed
almost every post in this thread are requests to either change it back, or make it optional. and complaints about missing games, bugs, and about how inconvenient all of this is.
I feel like gog no longer cares about what their community wants

I recall that back in the good old days when gog.com publically asked the community for opinions on things such as episodic content, early access, DLC etc. it felt like they were trying to probe for what the community actually wanted and took it into account.

Now it's been all like here's this months random thing out of the blue, enjoy. And we seldom do.

That's what happens when you're aiming at building a different community - the dinosaurs are no longer needed.

Well, people are much more likely to post or contact a company when they have a complaint. The people who are happy with changes will rarely reach out to praise.

So forums are naturally filled with malcontents. ;)

de_Monteynard: I have been having a nasty feeling that despite its many advantages (DRM-free, bonus goods, excellent customer service, great community), GOG has taken just a step or two too far into the business sense area of the market.

I admit, it is a subjective feeling left over from the early post-beta times, but now things seem to be a bit more grey than in the past (no website pun intended). Instead of the friendly neighbourhood store store, it has become more of an official enterprise, with a reception desk in a large lobby as the gate-keeper.

Or it could be that without TET they have not had anyone charismatic to explain what has been going on and serve as a pressure valve for the community while GOG corporate presses on with the changes. Whatever the case, some of the charm has been lost and the blunders during the past year have not made things any more light-hearted.
I think TeT very well knew what they had planned out and decided to bug out before the store became something else then it was in the old times before the fatefull March day and all the last year blunders after it. With gog growing faster the customer service will certainly suffer even more and the gog agreement will certainly go through another rethink soon to lessen their legal obligations which will certainly happen.
I'd also go so far as to say that this isn't the hugest of deals.

The bloated install size is, yeah, and it sucks Fallout vanished for some people (though I can report mine's still here). But "these fake representations of game boxes could be a bit more varied" or "this default sorting system is a bit odd with some series" aren't really dealbreakers. I raised an eyebrow and laughed a little at Ultima's numbering, but that's it.. It's wacky, and it'd be better if it were fixed, but it's not a thing I'm going to accuse GOG of abandoning my needs over.
I went from 621 to 520 but nothing seems to be missing...

Then that's it. Very weird that the number of games decreased for you. It should have inflated heavily like for everybody else. Guess gog is stil doing dr. Frankenstein on us.

Hm, as far as our friendly neighborhood dev can see, your games count appears to have increased to 522, not decreased.

When are the HoMM Chronicles downloads going to be fixed? Sizewise of course (660MB -> 3.5GB).
