Also I may be condescending but it doesn't mean it's not true. being upset or not being happy with something is one thing fine but in the grand scheme of things it's stupid and childish to get all worked up over it like that and decide to leave because they are what spliting up the bundles. Sorry but that is as stupid as people getting all bothered and acting like the franchise is dead and talking about boycotting for all to hear because there was a Black storm trooper and a claymore lightsaber in the teaser for the next Star Wars.

I'm sorry but if people put that much rage and effort in to real problems, we wouldn't have half the damn messes we have now. Maybe it's because I am older, have kids and live in a state run by a dumb ass who cares more to kissing up to NYC then the rest of the state in a country run by equal to greater dumb asses who only care about sucking up to big corporations and party lines but be that as it may and as pretentious as it sounds it's none the less true.
Oh, now I get it. You didn't comprehend a single thing I said or where I'm coming from at all.

wanderer_27: Also, I don't see Alone in the Dark on the split list, so I'm not sure if it will be split into 1, 2 & 3.
that's probably due to the fact they can only offer Alone 2 and 3 as extras. I may be wrong on that though.

Doesn't that apply to most of the others as well, there are quit a few that just came out as packs?

I'm also not sure though, I'm just going through my Library to see what's going on.

Like I say, better a smartass than a dumbass. Though maybe I'm being uncharitable and you are simply conversationally tone deaf. You clearly are unshakeable in your wrong-headedness, something which will serve you well in life if your goal is to get absolutely nowhere of worth as a person.

Nor does it mean it is. But what it does most assuredly mean is that you are blocked from ever knowing which is the case. Being arrogant is not the same as being right, and any overlap of the two is purely coincidental.

DCT: I swear people get upset at the silliest things. It never fails when something changes there are going to be those who complain needlessly about it.

Honestly barring breaking up episodic games I don't see what the big issue is here? If anything this is a good thing, I really don't like the idea of having to download a bunch of installments of a game series that I don't want to play at the time just so I can play the one I want. For example if I want to play Might and Magic 4+5: World of Xeen I am also having to by proxy download 1,2,3, swords, and 6 it's a dumb way to handle it. This is easier and more convenient and I really don't see what the damn downside is to this outside of when you do want to install all the installments that were originally bundled together.
The issue is not whether there should be six installers, one M&M game. I believe most everybody supports this.
The issue is whether we need six boxes on the shelf, rather than six installers in the one existing box.
The unbundling is primarily about breaking existing boxes into multiple boxes.

no, you see with Alone in the dark when you buy it you are technically only picking up the first game and 2 and 3 are bonuses hence why they are in the Extras and not the actual installer with the first game. I don't recall the reasons why GOG had to do it that way outside of some stupid and silly licensing thing.

Matruchus: 1) Is there going to be an option to see the unbundled games bundled in the library cause I really have no use to have them all separate in the library its just going to make a mess for me.

2) A suggestion: Why don't you just offer separate download links in the bundled games cards. One bundled downloqad link and separate download links for every bundled game under existing game card.

3) Is there going to be anyway that I can bundle the games together for myself to download them bundled cause I have no use for separate downloads?

So this is basically galaxy prep which makes everything harder for non galaxy users.
Answers:
1) No (see http://www.gog.com/forum/general/important_notice_unbundling_games/post180).
2) Suggested by many in this thread. Ignored by GOG.
3) Seems the same question as #1.

Do you even know what I was complaining about? maybe I should of been more clear. I wasn't talking about people being upset that there was going to be multiple boxes and are being adult about it and suggesting a change in plans for what was one release, yes it would make more sense that there should be one box and multiple installers. I should of clarified. What I was complaing about is how people were reacting though with the usual overreactions and threats about leaving that I always see here. That is what I am bitching about since it's stupid and silly to react to that level over something like that multiple boxes are dumb but not leaving a site over dumb or acting like GOG is catering to the Steam kids or whatever nonsense.

I especially liked the Heroes Chronicles plot twist, and don't miss the Planetfalla grand finale.
