Bmoyn715: why has unbundling them redistributed them in random places throughout my shelf? now I have to reorganize everything again, why could they not just expand outward from where they were already located?
john_hatcher: By the number of posts from GOG in this thread (or better the lack of) regarding the mentioned problems, I think GOG simply does not give a fuck about the people who have complaints. For me, one more step towards Steam.
Even so I'm not affected by Galaxy, at least that is what I have been told many times, I'm affected by this unbundling nonsense, which kind of contradicts the "not affected by Galaxy" shit.
The thing that bothers me the most about this is the blatant lie about the reason.
Honestly, if the GOG team came out and said, "we gotta do this for Galaxy", and then people complained, and they said, "sorry, we know it isn't perfect for the website, but we had no choice"... well, that wouldn't be perfect, but at least it would be honest.
Instead what I'm seeing is "oh no, this isn't just for Galaxy, this is because you asked for it! It's just luck it happens to work for Galaxy too!" Followed by folks finding the 30ish votes for doing this... Followed by a thousand people expressing serious concerns... Followed by absolute, utter silence by GOG.
There is nothing more disappointing from a company than spin that borders on dishonesty- except for silence. I started this thread totally in favor of unbundling and a huge GOG fan, and at this point I've become very disappointed with both. I'm eagerly awaiting my faith being restored by some communication...
