NEO117: I think I'll open another support ticket listing to this thread just so they're aware of what's going on. They most likely are at this point but just to be safe.
And I almost forgot about Pandemic. :(
And Maxis is dead as of today... Another victim of EA Games: Murder everything.
Maxis i know that name its old isnt it?
lets google on this
" Maxis was a subsidiary of Electronic Arts, serving as one of its four major video game development labels."
subsidiary:(google)
"The subsidiary can be a company, corporation, or limited liability company. In some cases it is a government or state-owned enterprise. The controlling entity is called its parent company, parent, or holding company."
aha now i get it, we have differnt names for it in dutch so i had to use google, its quite complicated all those things they do.
I read that the games didnot sell well so the closed that part.
Pandemic also wellknown name
googled again:
Pandemic Studios
Electronic game company
Pandemic Studios was an independent developer founded in 1998. Between 2007 and 2009 it became an Electronic Arts-owned developer, and shortly afterwards closed.
Founder: Josh Resnick
Founded: 1998, Santa Monica, California, United States
all the good stuff seems to be moved leaving more room for 'others'
But to get back on topic again: the case of not able to buy...
I read the articles and it appears to be a certain region than troubles it.
I think we can only wait to see what can be done, i dont know how the ticket system goes , but on most sites they always say that more tickets push things back or so.
Best is to let GOG handle it from now cause i am certain they do their best to fix it, i am confident about that.
