I have a question regarding Influent. It is specified by Humble that:
You get one free language pack with your copy of Influent! Select from: Japanese, German, Spanish, French, English, Italian, Swedish, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, Bulgarian, and Latin.

What exactly does it mean? I mean, can I choose more than one languages or only one? And are the interface languages(Note: Game interface available in: English, German, French, Swedish, Russian, and Japanese.-as stated in Humble's page) available as languages to be learned without the language pack?
As an example, and to show why I'm asking, let's say I'm interested in learning German,Russian and Chinese-in that order of interest. Can I pick all 3 languages(that is, can I pick more than one languages and up to how many?) or am I limited to only one?

It was available as Early Access so interested people might have been buying it from earlier.

I think there are people still creating latin names for modern things based on latin etymology, but I think I read that years ago and I don't have a reference for that.

That makes sense as an explanation. And it is also justified by the following "experience" I had a few years ago:
I was learning Latin in high-school and my father thought he'd get me a software to help-not that I found Latin very hard(in fact I thought-and still think- it is very easy to learn)- but he got it in the same mentality he had gotten "Tell me More" software when I was learning French. I distrusted the software immediately from the start(anybody would ,with this appearance it had-of course he got for cheaper than the price listed on the link) and when I saw that it actually gave a word for "telephone"- and many other modern things, I laughed at the software, thinking it was ridiculous, and then continued to learn Latin the traditional way(with a grammar and a textbook, that is)...

Influent Dev here. I can confirm this. We had a friend who was studying Latin and offered to put it in the game for us. Even though Latin is a dead language, like you stated above, people are still translating modern objects.

Can anyone share their input about the bta and top level games? I'm interested in Influent, but wanted to lnow more about the rest.

So I was wondering and quite interested in your opinion - how do you consider how much to spend on a bundle? :)

I know some Anti-Drm advocates that will buy at 0.99$ point just to support the DRM-Free copies and NOT get a steam key.
But what if the whole bundle is Steam only (like the recent Nordic)? will you still spend 0.99$ and give all to humble/charity?

I suppose most pay the 1$ when possible and sometimes BTA on relevant bundles (I did a BTA once so far, but I'm new to this).

How about the upper tier? Is it just to support the developers (or specialty occasions like charity/whatnots)?
As I suppose most people who are after that sort don't turn to humble for exclusive/pre-order/early access as (other then rare extremities) these are available in other places much sooner. As I don't care at all for fast delivery, I rather just wait and get those titles once their price drops.

And would you consider paying (much) lower then 0.99$ for titles that have limited interest to you that you don't care enpugh to get on steam but would still like an option to check them out?If so, do you feel that going for the bare minimum is considered taking advantage of the offer?

To tell the truth, unless you're a very generous person or you don't buy many games or you're wealthy, I fear the pay-what-you-want model in combination with the frequent bundles and sales will soon seduce you to only pay the minimum. If you really care about supporting the developers, you could already have bought the games (or several copies of them) on release for the full price, and if you want to donate money to charity, you could do it without buying games. Of course there are exceptions, like DRM-free versions of a game having their debut in a bundle, but that's become pretty rare these days. Personally I admit I've become quite accustomed to paying low prices just to try out a few games I might not have bought otherwise, although I usually don't pay less than a dollar and I don't believe that doing so would send any positive message about DRM-free games to the developers.

I assume that the affirmative way you made that statement about some DRM-free advocates means that they've admitted doing it for the reason you stated?

I am a DRM-free advocate, and if a bundle comprises exclusively of Steam titles, I simply don't buy it, as buying it sends the wrong message. And why would I want to give my money to HB in such a case? To reward them for not pushing for DRM-free alternatives to be included? /S
As for charity - I have my own charity causes that I support, and don't need HB to do so. Yes, that means that i see the charity aspect of HB mostly as a clever gimmick to entice people to buy more/ most bundles.

If a bundle contains DRM-free versions, but (most of) the games present little to no interest to me, I usually pass.

As for how much I spend, it depends on how much interest each bundle holds for me, i.e. I don't go for higher tiers if the games are of no interest, repeats or Steam exclusives. If it's the lower tier, the amount depends on how many games interest me to play or just check out, but not bellow $1, even if I personally have no use for the Steam keys (I just give them away).

Yes, I've read several posts claiming to do just that "in order to send a message", though my search didn't yield results I could link atm. I suppose supporting humble for a non Drm-Free bundle is not very logical, but as they don;t give you anything in return, doing so in s steam exclusive is 100% for charity/humble for being in there in the first place, and sure makes them think as to WHY would someone do that... so it has a point.

I woudn't count on it that it makes them think or care. Usually a much better way to draw some attention to an issue is to just write an e-mail about it instead of trying to make people guess your intentions. ;)
