I've decided i'll finish up sorting my games, then contact support and lump a series of requests into one: "Here's a list of games.... if it's possible to get a gift code for it, i'd like that. if not, i'd like a refund.... if that's also not possible, i'd like them removed from my account because i cannot forsee ever playing them."
Obviously with some more context...... and just for the sake of context, in case those of you in this thread are interested: i have two main laptops i use:
#1 is an asus ROG gl551. i7 4720hq quadcore 2.6, 16gb ram, geforce gtx 960m vid, and crucial bx100 250gb SSD (aftermarket)
and #2: acer aspire one d270. intel atom dualcore 1.8, 3.25gb ram (4gb, mb or processor only supports / lets me use 3.25..... aftermarket, it came with 1gb), intel GMA 3650 integrated graphics, and western digital black edition 7200 rpm 1tb HDD (Aftermarket)
computer #1, capable of modern or near-modern games, is used for that purpose..... computer #2 is the comp i prefer to play on, and it has the classics i grew up with and loved (infinity engine games, original fallout trio, might and magic series, etcetera) ...... im always looking to expand my horizons, so sometimes i buy a game that looks low-graphic enough, or was released early enough..... or it comes out of a star from the winter sale that just passed, or a hat from the recent event.....
Under those circumstances, i attempt to get them on the netbook (comp #2), and if they work, then one day when im bored i may load them up and play them..... if they dont work, they wont get played, since there are way too many nicer / more recent / better options for comp #1
