tybone88: How do i get a refund for a game I just bought. i emailed support Friday afternoon and still havent heard anything back other than automated conformation emails.
What moonshineshadow said, they're in Poland so they were probably already gone for the weekend by the time you emailed them on Friday. I had the same thing happen with some Pinatas from the sale & they replied and fixed it pretty early on the next Monday morning. Customer Support does not work on the weekends I think. Also, DO NOT download the game you're trying to get refunded...you can't get the refund if you do.
As for GOGs overall direction I'm pretty happy with it. Still getting plenty of old/oldish games and I love getting the newer/indie games here as well. I'm sure I'm in the minority but I actually wish they could get more movies, but I understand that's probably a really hard sell to movie studios.
I haven't used Galaxy (and probably never will since I'm stuck with dial-up), but I don't have any interest in achievements, multiplayer, or auto-patching...so no loss there. I've only used Chat once and it worked just fine. The 2 times I've had to deal with customer support went smoothely.
I do wish you could manually sort your wishlist but it's not a huge deal.
As for negatives, I wish gog mixes were not being fazed out seemingly (they sure aren't as easy to find anymore)...improving them would have been better to me. I've heard that the gog downloader (not galaxy) is also being fazed out...that wil annoy the hell out of me when it happens.
The worst thing to me is that gog seems to reject alot of indie games that look like they'd be a great fit here. I mean I don't want it to be the crappy indie game hell that steam has turned into but gog seems a little too strict in their selection process.
I also wish there was a release calander we could see, even if it wasn't 100% guaranteed correct or complete (the upcoming tab is kinda lacking).
Oh, and more lego games pls. That is all. :)
