RadonGOG: ...but the FIG-Campaign for Consortium just revealed how few:
466,949
Source: https://www.fig.co/campaigns/consortium-the-tower/invest
Having seen this incredibly low number I even begin to understand why SEGA isn´t willing to bring a sequal.
Personally, I also just got AlphaProtocol from a GamingMagazineDVD...

It's sold that many on Steam alone.
http://steamspy.com/app/34010
edit:
Laff the site basically admits it's bullshit in the "small print" and actually mentions the number is pulled from Steamspy and is PC sales only - making his comparison completely irrelevant. It's a cross platform title, all sales and profits need to be taken into account. He needs to make a better infographic that references Steam exclusives ONLY if he is going to take Steamspy as his data source.
Of course the whole point is to "sucker" investors anyway... who needs accurate data and comparisons for that?

Like Vampire Bloodlines, I'm very glad I bought it when available DRM-Free (in this case, GG provided a simple executable to bypass the DRM). Actually, now that I finished Sleeping Dogs, I might as well start playing Alpha Protocol :)

I remember I didn't put any points into hacking my first play through. I got stuck in the train station chase where you had to hack a door to continue. I had to repeat it about twenty times before I lucked through.

AP could have been a masterpiece, but got bogged down with some bad minigames (hacking, I'm lookin' at you) bugs, and a yet another case of Obsidian sort of over reaching. The characters and dialogue were amazing, along with the freedom to do what you wanted, but some of the mechanics weren't well implemented and the end result could only stop at mediocrity. All that said, I enjoyed the time I spent with it, and I'll probably go back through it again later, as it's worth a few playthroughs, imo.
Also, 466k sold as a physical release is pretty crap. I'm wondering if a mainly digital release would revive enough interest in a sequel, as 450k for a digital release would actually be a pretty solid payday, if the price was right.

RadonGOG: Cool joke about this terrible thing---always read GamersGate when somebody was talking about that stuff as well!
Gonchi: Apparently a lot of people did, to the point of sending them hate mail. Then again, not sure how much business they have anymore, reducing themselves mostly into a Steam/Origin(/UPlay?) key seller. So maybe it doesn't matter that much at this point anymore.

I'm happy to have the DotEmu (DRM-free) version of Bloodlines, before they stopped selling it. Not sure if the Steam version of Bloodlines is DRM-free too, but I prefer a digital version with an installer.

Ah, so Steam number. Probably includes the 160,000 copies from the Humble Weekly Sale: SEGA, where the game was on the base tier.
That entire page is kind of bullshit. Tries hard to convince that investors will make money.

To be fair, you can bypass all of them with EMP grenades except for the very first one. Which is nice, because the minigames suck. The game's way more fun if you just carry around a bunch of EMPs to save you the trouble.

Ooh, that'd be sweet. I actually got the game Day-1, and so what if it was rough and buggy. I beat the thing once on a stealthy, subtle playthrough — and then immediately a second time just blowing shit up. It was great both times, and the differences were pretty significant from what I remember.https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/alpha_protocol

Yeah, you have to put a point into the sabotage tree and then you can use the EMPs to circumvent the minigames. Maybe "all" was the wrong word since you can't ever carry enough of them to use on absolutely everything you see that causes a minigame (as memory serves), but I remember at least never having to put up with the abysmal hacking one again after the tutorial. The others are easy enough that I never bothered wasting an EMP on them.
Still, makes for a much smoother experience.
