leon30: Congrats on the new game Catpower! I wish you to sell well enough for you to make at least two more!
Btw really nice decision to make the different levels in different colors, but with a predominant one, not like some other indie shoot'em'ups that can give you epilepsy (colors are wonderful, but not too many at the same time).
A question to the ones who already played it - are the controls responsive enough? Could it be played at ease with keyboard/mouse, because for those sort of platformers that's one of the main pitfalls?
In fact, I don't really rely on sales to make further games as mentioned (or not, I don't remember) in my "Fuck unemployment" giveaway, I do it on my savings and more for the experience than to win the lottery so a few more games are in the pipe. Next one will be in autumn ;)
For the colors, it's already visual heavy so I didn't add more ^o^
For the controls, it's good when playing 60fps and above (below it gets too jerky). For the keyboard/mouse, in fact, you just use the arrows (or wasd) in-game and the mouse for the menus. When I write that you can drink or smoke while playing, I really mean it :o)
BTW, are you in or not? ;)
chadjenofsky: But, as the.kuribo said, Elevator Action was one of my favorites too.
I played the arcade machine a lot in the 80's, some good memories :) The sequel "Elevator Action Returns" is even better and is one of those relatively 90's arcade gem, I only got to play through emulator sadly. The firs stage is "classic" but afterwards it gets wilder ^o^
