So, this is my wishlist.

I have been having a hard time spending on gog.com due to the abusive value of the USD-BRL conversion in the last year or so. Yet, I'm thinking about getting a few things just to get Spelunky for free. I already have GK and, though I'd love to get Dreamfall, I don't think I'll manage to spend that much this time around.

So, I'm willing to spend something between 5 and 10 USD buying stuff from my wishlist and I'd like a suggestion from you guys on what I should definitely get this time around.

You don't need to suggest just a single game, any combination of games that results in 10 USD or less will do.

You also don't have to justify whatever you suggest, but it would be nice to know your reasons. Just don't wall-text. :P
If it's only about the reward games, you could just ask for a code in this thread here. Your chances to get a copy of Spelunky over there are very good, especially with you being a known 'face' around here. ;)
I can help you spend on the promo because there is a lot of stuff I want. :P
Shadowrun: Hong Kong. Assuming here that you don't yet have Dragonfall, if you don't, get that instead, it's just US$3.

Admittedly the story isn't as good as Dragonfall, but it's still pretty good, and there were certain gameplay improvements, chief among them the revamped Matrix and hacking. Other than that, it's the same turn-based isometric RPG from before, that doesn't come around very often.

Do you really care about digital extras though? Digital soundtrack and art book? I ask because the deluxe edition is US$10,49 while the regular version with just the game, which some might argue is the most important part, costs just US$6,99. If I were you I'd get this version, and some other game that's really cheap, like Bloodrayne perhaps.
I had fun with Outlaws. It shows it's age ofcourse, and sometimes has annoying puzzles that don't really fit the spaghetti western theme, but it's still very good, great music, stylish cut scenes. I just can't figure out why they totally ripped off Batman's villain Hugo Strange for one of the games bad guys. Still, he's voiced by John "Q" de Lancie so that's cool too.

Divinity: Dragon Commander is a strange mix. The RTS part mostly suck, and definately does not live up to the awesome promise of commanding your armies while also wrecking havok as a dragon with a jetpack. The devs bit off a little more than they could chew there. The turn based strategy part is ok, but still a little annoying in that one has to exploit some of it's elements in a sort of "meta" way. Where the game really shines is interacting with a wide variety of characters, mostly diplomats from various races, in first person mode and making important strategic and political decisions. The voice acting is good, decisions can be pretty tough as you try to balance the kind of empire you want to build wit maintaining all the races support, and there is plenty of humor to be found. If you like Terry Pratchett's Discworld sense of humor than that part alone should make the game worth it to you. You can set the game on "easy" and just enjoy the diaologue and characters. At 85% off it's a pretty good deal.

However, if all you want is Spelunky, I can set you up with a code right now :)

Good suggestion! Although personally, I'd get Outlaws instead of Bloodrayne Betrayal (lower discount but better game IMO). :)

And another thing to keep in mind: Even if you'd like Shadowrun Hong Kong's digital extras for completion's sake, there's no rush to get them now, you can always upgrade later. Maybe they'll get a better discount next sale, too.

I see you have Lenthis and Caesar IV on there. Have you played the classic Sierra city builders? If you haven't, then perhaps have a look at Caesar 3, and Pharaoh. Both are 60% off and I think are a whole lot better thann either of those two . Caesar 3 is only $2.39 at the moment.
I say look for anything 75% and above, then in order of preference, BUY! If it is not 75% of more, it soon will be!
I'd suggest:

Technobabylon DE
Outlaws +
Uprising: Join or Die
Terra Nova
Another vote for Shadowrun. It'll probably be cheaper next year, but it's the single most interesting item on the list in my opinion.

Alternatively, Requiem + Slain. Requiem is a better FPS than the rather terrible Outlaws (but obviously I'm in the minority here), and Slain has apparently received a bunch of improvements lately (though for the Windows version only so far), making it closer to the game we all wanted it to be. This is somewhat over $10, though.

Well... I kinda care, but not really. I'll probably give Spelunky a try if I get it, but Dreamfall is something I'd be more interested in the end, since I played the original game, The Longest Journey.

I backed the original Shadowrun KS and already played through both Returns and Dragonfall. I care about extras, but in all honesty I never really make any use of them. Since I own both earlier games on Steam and Gog, I think I'll get it over Steam (where I played the earlier games) and wait for a connect opportunity.

Outlaws is one that makes me wish XL Engine was ready already. XD Dragon Commander interests me in that it's different from other Divinity games. I know it's a good deal, but I fear it may not be something I'll play soon enough.

Thanks for the Spelunky offer. But I think I'll get a copy from gog.com soon enough. :)

Finish off your Star Wars game collection.
Or buy Outlaws or Terra Nova.

If you like the mechwarrior series of games, Terra Nova is the closest thing to Battletech Elemental combat that you will find on GOG.

I actually own the other games. In all honesty, I could never dedicate myself enough to learn the ropes on all of them, a great shame really. It seems that if it's not a modern city builder, I'll get confused over what I should focus on when building a city. That and it took me more than 20 years to learn how to play Sim City 2k properly. XD

But have you played Dreamfall: TLJ yet? Chapters plays much more off of the second game as it is a continuation of that storyline.

Good advice. I'll take it into consideration as well. ^_^

Uprising is more of a curiosity than a necessity. I remember seeing about both versions back in the 90's but never playing them, hence the curiosity.

Terra Nova seems to me the kind of game that would totally hook me, if modernised properly. I keep fearing the complexity and limitations of the controls will put me off.

Requiem is something I saw on the 90's that I really wish to play. Must investigate forums to see how well gog's version runs.

Hum... I didn't consider getting both SW games now. It's a thought. :)

Not really, well remembered. *facepalm* But, again, the thing is free... if you spend enough (which I won't :( ).
