Tracido: As a matter of fact thousands have been playing it, look anything up like the statistics of the game's use.

They have been playtesting it for several months now, as do the devs who speak to me...

Gosh, I thought old school gamers knew some of these devs did Painkiller, and worked with 51 studios.

These aren't amateur indies. Not sorry.

Dalswyn: Dead State was quite buggy on release, even though its devs are experienced.

Are there any reviews around?
Of course not, there was a media blacklist they got put on. They knew the game was going to have controversy, they didn't think it'd get this crazy. They did find someone in the media finally, & they said they will be releasing it in a few days along with the game.

So we're to take your word, and yours only, that the game is good? Yeah, sure...
Also, I don't buy the conspiracy theory. Unless it features tea-sipping lizard-men. With monocles.

Also, Dead State was just another zombie game, I totally missed it, never heard of it till you mentioned.

It happens, even to the best title makers, like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_QK-lcW8a8

Lizard men, love this guy, BTW, and no you cannot stop them... >:)

tinyE: STOP replying to him!

He'll get bored and go away.
eh, I'm done. I didn't know about this game until today. After seeing the trailer, it doesn't look like anything I'd enjoy for more than 5 minutes until getting bored. I might check out some of the reviews after it's out just to see if there is more to it though.

I will say though that I find it funny. Tracido is an edge case (and possibly 12). But people here go nuts over Steam selling any lame game someone might crap out. Meanwhile, GOG decides to not sell it. We don't know why. Could be content. Could be it sucks. Could be they thought it wasn't wort h$20. Then again, maybe the head of GOG went to high school with the head of Destructive Creations and thought he was a total knob. In any event, it will be funny to see how people feel once the game is released.

Edge is for the bedroom kids. It's called edgeplay, might be time for some to put on big boy pants.

This is concerning because I believed this was a safe store for adult content, end of discussion, and instead I see near 50 pages of stupid shit talking and blind following without question.

If I was off, still don't care, let it out. If there's a real reason, hearing it shouldn't be impossible.

The cynic in me can't help wonder if this is viral marketing: plant the seed of supposed controversy and let people like Tracido do all the legwork.

LeonardoCornejo: Actually I noticed users interested in this game seem to do little but complaining, and I think maybe we could make a petition asking GOG to release it. If it works to censor games as it happened to GTA, it could work to help them being released.

LiquidOxygen80: Technically, they DO have the wishlist entry to gauge customer interest in the property. That said, if it IS a case of DRM, then I'd absolutely have no problem with GOG passing it up. No exceptions, in my opinion.
Of course, and that is why I want to hear an official statement. But well, if DRM is not the case, they are ignoring the fact that it is quite popular in the wishlist, and I want an explanation.

I am very loyal to GOG and CDP even though there have been many complaints about certain issues, third party keys for example. But this is going too far. I don't want GOG to become a Steam clone.

GOG.com have always heavily curated their store. That's actually the complete opposite of what Steam does.

Has there even been any gameplay footage released of this game?

That is why I want a public statement before jumping to conclusions, but GOG had some slips in the past regarding their curation standards. I mean, thye released Gone Home, and it has been poorly recieved by gamers.

There is a little in the trailers, but most of it is cut scenes. Supposedly, pre-orders will get to play it on the 29th, so we'll have a better idea then as to any merits of its gameplay. The flamethrower fire looked pretty cool, but the game seemed to have a lot of "blacker than black" to it.

Frankly, no one has any idea how extreme the game even is or how it plays. Heck, how many iOS game advertisements make them out to be "deep" strategy games, as if one can even have that on a phone...

Only gamers without any taste.

It's GOG and Steam rating, reviews, and GOG mixes says otherwise, not to mention there are suspicions of its awards being earned in dishonest way

I just wish GOG ends up saying "Not yet" in stead of "Never"
