Nerd3 playing hatred BY THE POWER OF SELF-DEFENCE!

Gonchi: About two thirds of this thread would have been avoided if GOG had simply released Hatred. Just saying.
I am still puzzled why everyone speaks about this...
low rated

LeonardoCornejo: Hey I don't have a better nominal term to use for those moralist corrupt wankers. Do you have any?

DCT: I can think of a few.

1. irrational idiots
2. fucktards
3. mouth breathing primates
4. simpletons
5. dumb marks
6. the critically thinking challenged
7. Thinking impaired
8. internet justice brigade
9. pretentious, mindless self righteous pricks
I can go on and the best part is all of these can be used to describe almost any internet asshats be they SJWs, tumblr femenists, fundamentalists. the anti SJW camp, who ever.
There you go with the psychological projection again...

I find deeply sad that after being accused to be potential satanists or killers for playing Dungeons & Dragons back in the 80s, of being a NERD for like computer games in the same years, later accused again of being a potential violent person for playing video-games, or a misogyn or a white trash, racist, NAZI, etc.

I find deeply sad that the same industry that been accused the whole time for these things, now suggest that there is something wrong because some people played Postal, Manhunt, Hatred, or any other violent game.

This is pure puritanism mixed with the worse hypocrisy ever. And there is not much that I could add to such attitude, just that some people lost their north, totally, I hope you will stay home with the doors well closed, as probably all these Hatred players are going to kill you after some weeks or being "touched" by the evil awakening killer power of HATRED. This software has the magical power to turn good people in killers!!! Because, hey, PIXELS MATTER MORE THAN REAL LIFE!

For all the other ones, happy killing/hunting pixels in all your other "morally accepted" games...

Ridiculous...

There is a parallel to be made about the West giving in to Islamic extremism.

- You hate us because of our freedoms? We'll take these freedoms away from the people.

- You call us morons for liking violent video games? We'll shame those who make and play them.

When "gaming advocates" belittle others because they make them feel bad by association in the eyes of the judging crowd, we're getting closer and closer to official censorship, because the general public and legislators will see that some of "us" care more about being seen as appreciators of interactive art rather than vulgar and degenerate gamers.

I'm not saying this trend will destroy gaming, but it will prevent the next Grand Theft Auto, Saints Row or Postal of its generation from being made. We probably won't even realize it.

Hatred is simply not important, ambitious or well-executed enough to be that game, yet it barely made it out alive. How many Six Days in Fallujah have been canceled?

Anyway, loved the ending sequence in Hatred. There's only one mission that I found hard and frustrating, so if you get past the politician level, the rest goes by fine. I really enjoyed it, flaws and all.

Wait maybe I missed a step. Read the forward to the comic. I defends it actually. The comic itself was just a joke. I probably should have linked to the forward itself. My bad. I agree on the your points above.

Its just a spiritual successor to Postal. Not a big deal. No kittens were harmed in the making of it. Funny part is my comp couldn't even run it, so meh.

Nah, I think he knows that. He's just been trying to get a rise out of me and I think it bothers him that it doesn't work since it's painfully obvious what he's trying to do. It's kinda cute and pathetic at the same time.
Someone one day will study the big excuse of the zombie movies, or games, that is not other than kill your neighbours without being acused of being "out of morals"

I mostly died at the "Oh my god I haven't actually shot first yet, that means that I am morally superior to Han Solo." ... And then proceeds to waste the party by dancing horribly.

Nerd3 has really cool sense for humor, and knack for playing games unconventionally.

It really did crack me up. Case in point that the game aint a big ass deal. Love the physics though. I wish Zombie Shooter had them.

Funny thing is that the yellow journo drama led to a not insignificant amount of coverage and probobly sales. Which means it led more traffic to the site. Which (put on your tinfoil) says that the phony controversy was financially beneficial to both parties!

Vainamoinen: Hatred's down to position 282 in Steam's Charts this morning. Sales are probably more than adequate thanks to the controversy, yet interest is waning very, very quickly.
Remembered for the controversy and not the game play. Like Night Trap!

Its playtime actually increased to a grand total of 1h30m. That's actually pretty poor for a game focused on gameplay.
