We all have one at least and if not it's cause you don't get around enough. :P

Razer - I thought they were alright until they kept on ignoring a simple question. If their Cortex software would eventually include unauthorized resellers like G2A because they also do giveaways involving them? Banned as a troll on their social media. So besides supporting unauthorized resellers they also have no principles. :|

ASRock - I won a motherboard from a contest from this vendor. It was DOA. Then they said the sponsor wasn't an official retailer so they couldn't RMA it. Then they finally said "okay, direct from AMD is legit" but they say it's Out of Warranty and want me to pay a $50 service charge on top of paying shipping to get it to them. I'm just Willin' it up in here like "oh HELL NAW!" I can buy a new one that works from a better company for that price range. :|

Coolermaster - So every product I've previously purchased from them worked fine. I bought an Evo 212 and needed a replacement standoff. What happens? Delay in the warehouse for the holidays. Okay fine. Then they send me the wrong one, so I send a picture of the one I need. Approved again, more delays, and then...same wrong ones again. So I escalate it to support, they say it's my fault, approve it again, and....then don't send anything. 3 months of delays total before I gave up on them. :|

Sapphire - Open partners of G2A. I've gotten multiple people to buy a competitor card already and have lost them almost or around $1,000 in sales. I plan on making sure they don't even break even on their affiliate link.

MSI - Same as above. Also losing them money by advertising their legitimate competitors.

I don't expect companies to be perfect (except Amazon because they literally are), just actually make attempts to help the customer. And if they're involved in gaming then to not support anti-gaming institutions. Seems simple enough and I don't think I'm being unreasonable. 1 bad apple is one thing and most people tend to have positive experiences with a company but sometimes it's more of a matter of when than if. ^^
Black & Decker
Nvidia was on my list for killing 3dfx for 14 years until I broke down and got a 750ti.
I don't get around enough.
No one is currently on my don't buy list. Razer was there, then I went ahead and bought razer mechanical keyboard. I don't run the software however. Maybe nvidia is anyone as their driver standards have fallen. I switched back to amd last year. I just prefer amd over nvidia for 10 bit displays.

Ditto. Although usually i end up going for simple hardware rather than complex hardware. So harddrive/raid, lower end video, or drives and the like, i don't really have a blacklist for.

Well, anything Microsoft/Apple i suppose. Seems a good place to start :P
Apple, but it's not so much a matter of 'support' as it is 'derision that they convinced millions of people to shell out for these things'.

I've had a casual interest in tinkering with some of the older machines, but the problem is in finding them and all the proprietary peripherals.

Also, I'm not exactly keen on the hipster trash direction Logitech has taken itself, but I never bought much from them.

On a technicality, I'd support Nintendo software if it wasn't tied to Nintendo Hardware. Too many headbangers in their hardware choices. Whassat? You want the entire console to hang its neck around an expensive tablet controller that nobody can figure out a valid use for?

I try not to play favorites. Simply put, if they have something useful, fun, etc., I'll buy it regardless of the label.

tinyE: Black & Decker
Why? :o

I can understand the Apple thing but for me it's not an "I won't buy from them" thing but an "I can't buy from them cause money and expensive" one. :P

Nvidia...I thought they'd have more supporters here. Doesn't it work better on Linux? Despite this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYWzMvlj2RQ they seem to be making some strides as the SteamOS platform leader.

Bad luck there, shame though.
I have an ASRock board & I think it is really good.
Will hate when I make my next pc if can`t find similar :(

EVO 212 is good, although tad louder than similar coolers, so I`ve heard.
Amazing how good it is.

Anyhoe.

Razer: Had a Razer HEX, great mouse, but stupid software.
I do NOT want to have to be online, to log into my mouse` software, ever!
Also, when not online, I then have to click crap to carry on as normally would.

Vive le Logitech software & meece \o/

Oh, also had the Carcharias headset or wtf it is called.
Any time I muted mic, cronies would hear what sounded like an airplane in take off.
Same for me when they did it too.
Also, any time recording, it was infamous for recording a crackling/clicking that couldn`t get rid of it.
Also also, headset only lasted 14 months before the jack died on it :$

Razer, I've bought two different mice, two different keyboards, and two different headsets from them and they all failed on me about half a year in. Gimmicky garbage.

Nvidia, used to be all about them, then the last two cards I bought from them, one melted itself and the other was defect in about a month. Said fuck it and moved to AMD which, while not perfect, has only given me minor issues so far, nothing major. It's been about 7-8 years now.

Apple, because nowadays, you're paying for a logo. Over priced and over rated shitty walled garden software and hardware. I found an older iPod Touch in a parking lot, took it home and hated it. Should have left it on the ground rofl.

Alienware, over-priced, ugly aesthetic, and pretty lazy. Just build your own, probably for less, and not look like a complete dork.

Valve, since all their hardware seems gimmicky, Steam Machines flopped, not interested in VR, Steam Controller is very specific... so yeah.
Avoided AMD for a long time due to an experience with a Celeron chip... but back then I didn't know that that was a cheap budget chip so it greatly influenced my buying decisions for a while.
high rated
Apple: Basically stands for everything I despise in a corporation.
Razer: Got an overpriced mouse that didn't last long. The right botton started to misclick due to wear.
I fixed it a couple of times with super glue but didn't bother because it was not that great in the ergonomic department.

ATI: I had a long history of overheating radeons. Playing splinter cell while using a hair drier on cold, cooling my gfx card so i could keep playing without green spots on the walls.

Apple, based on prejudice i guess.

Edit: Oh yes also VALVE for obvious reasons...

ATI-Rage128. I've had one, it ran HOT all the time, left the case off and a separate fan blowing inside the case the entire time i used it. It was a surprise when i swapped cards that ran cool, and never touched that card since. (still got it)
