Sure it's struggling at the moment, mainly because the conservatives are doing their very best to kill it off (along with any other decent government initiative like benefits), but it's a damn sight better than the alternatives.

And anyone who has ever used the NHS knows there are probably more immigrants working in it than using it. And as an immigrant myself (albeit an Irish one, so know one ever counts me because I'm white and speak English) I certainly pay more into it in tax and NI then I've had back as I rarely use the doctor or hospital unless I have to.

Even if its vulnerable live, or were born outside the borders of that society. The NHS is the public caring for one another, and it's so sad that there are people in our society who would rather defend their own wealth than passively give care to others.

A right to health is more important than a right to own property! A right to safety is more important than a right to own property! A right to happiness is more important than a right to property!

Look after each other. Even if it's hard. Even if you get nothing for it. Even if no-one else is doing it. Even if you feel like no-one deserves it. Even if you think you need it more than anyone. Look after each other.

Have you been in the south of England recently? He's not far off from the truth. Hell, we're seeing the same shit here in the North of Scotland. People, specifically foreign people ARE getting preferential treatment and not just in health care. In housing, for their benefits, in the food banks and even in the job market. Of course, people like to pretend everything is all happy and that it's all paranoia. But unless you're living in one of these areas, you really don't know. My last trip to London, it looked more like a Turkish city than the city I visited 20 yrs prior. It's a disgrace.

Absolute rubbish. Asylum seekers absolutely do not get preferential treatment (quite the reverse). And someone arriving in the UK as a refugee today will certainly not be able to vote in the next general election - the maximum time between general elections is five years, which is also the absolute minimum time you need to have been living here to become a naturalised citizen. Though in reality it usually takes much, much longer; even getting refugee status can take years (assuming the Home Office grants it at all instead of sending you back to die). Not to mention that the number of refugees is far too small to have a significant impact on election results, even if every one was allowed to remain and somehow became a citizen tomorrow. Please don't post again until you have at least a vague idea of what the hell you're talking about.

The London you might have visited 40 yrs prior might have looked totally different too. Don't be afraid of change. Don't hate people. Don't try and keep difference away from you. The world is a big place, and you can make your mind so small. The world is a beautiful place and you can create such ugliness. The poorest people in the world can find contentment and the most wealthy can make themselves dissatisfied.

Be afraid of yourself. You can do so much harm if you let yourself.
